Weekly News

Hey, This is proof the world is nuts. The Panama Papers proved that I have no money in any offshore accounts or even here. Have you seen the documentary on Netflix about the Ukraine in 2013 and the kids fighting for freedom. That was just three years ago and they lost lotsa lives fighting the

Hey, Hang on for this news. The world may be in turmoil and our government forgot their mission to honor freedom, but we’re still having a blast everyday and keeping the Code of the West alive. Folks reach out to us for jobs constantly. We must be doing something right. As magazines slip away we

Hey, Wow, there’s so much flying at us I can’t seem to focus. Let’s just jump into the news and see where it leads us. The Bikernet Weekly News is sponsored in part by Cycle Source Magazine, Iron Trader, and Chopper Town.     ARIZONA BIKE WEEK COMING SOON BUT THE ULTIMATE MOTORCYCLE SHOW IS

Hey, I’m confused today. A brother of mine reminded me of his mantra, “We are facing constant and expanding regulation. We need to adapt to it.” I can’t. Maybe I’m not bright enough to read all the daunting fine print. Here’s a terrible example of government deliberate confusion. In Newport Beach, California you must go

Hey, I’ve noticed and was challenged by a trend of late. I spotted shops selling their wares using words like culture, markets, millennia, art, and such. There’s something strange about those words to some of us old bikers. We were in the game because we loved it, found the romance, adventure, and intrigue in the

Hey, This news is action-packed and the Bikernet Headquarters are action central. We are still grappling with the city, filling out another form for consideration by the high command. An attorney told me today, “It’s common for them to target an area of interest and start with real or imagined code violations. It’s likely the

Hey, Interesting week in paradise. It’s warming, the girls look better in skimpier clothes. Daytona action is in full swing. Life is nuts and hauling ass. I’m going to dive into the news while pondering my next move. We’re shooting a promo reel for the new Biker-Build-off series in our vast and unrelenting Bikernet Nerve

Hey, I’m more excited than I have been in awhile about a couple of things. Life is just so fuckin’ interesting. You can bang along, but if you keep your eyes and mind open, answers will come. I’ve been concerned about Bikernet’s growth for a couple of years. I’ve researched, drawn on the knowledge of

Hey,We are fighting the EPA over performance products for motorcycles and cars. Drag Specialties was forced to remove 280 part numbers from their catalogs due to fines from the Air Resources Board in California. Folks have told me there’s nothing we can do. We will be regulated, so just deal with it. That’s funny

Hang On, This news is packed with controversy and the fight for Freedom. I do my best to avoid politics, but I’m looking hard for a solution. Just after I wrote my Brief Manifesto, the EPA and SEMA had a meeting about new regulations. They will basically ban all car, truck, and motorcycle performance products.

Hey, This is a rough one. Today, I’m bouncing between business deals, family issues, plans for Superbowl weekend, our effort to help the custom motorcycle market stay free, and our Bonneville racing efforts. Buck Lovell called. He’s trying for a job at the Sturgis Museum. I told him I would write a letter of reference.

Hey, I’m scrambled today with projects, priorities, and crazed notions. While the Redhead slips around the headquarters in her leopard robe, I swept up after our two black labs and pondered the day. I’ve been attacked by stress over the vast and unrelenting Bikernet Interplanetary Headquarters being attacked by the City of Los Angeles. We

Hey, Talk about a wild week. Visitors rolled in from New Orleans. Anson Alexander worked on offshore oil rigs, but liked to keep up with Bikernet. The bosses banged on his door and shut off access—something about the girls. Anson went right to the top. The girls in the free section are cool

Hey, I have a major bitch, actually a couple, but I will attempt to stay focused on Freedom. I just don’t get it. What happened to freedom in this country. We all know how important freedom is for the soul, but safety, and regulation took over. How many times has this backfired, take the War

Hey, It’s another strange day in paradise. It’s raining and California needs it. Hopefully it will blow over before next weekend and the Easyriders show hits Long Beach. This weekend ER is hosting the Sacramento show. I’ve been thinking lately, which is a troubling notion. I wonder why I encounter anxiety from time to

Hey, It’s been a testing year for the Bikernet crew. We’ve made significant strides in some areas and stumbled in others. We changed up the Cantina, but that didn’t work. We reverted back to the old program working with Jack McIntyre and we are back on schedule. We started new programs with Cycle Source and

Bikernet brings you Holiday cheer on the eve of all the action. I was just released from the hospital today, so it’s going to be short and stumbling. I can’t wait to feel like a human being again. There’s a whole lot of action to cover. I can’t wait to see our K-Model flathead 45

MERRY CHRISTMAS, It’s been an incredible year, and it’s not over. Hang on for this report. Our Bikernet news is proudly sponsored by Iron Trader, Cycle Source, and ChopperTown. Let’s hit it, then the holiday cheer. GUNS ARE GOOD– Good guys need guns to target terrorists. One of the great things about being Sheriff is

Hey, I don’t know about you, but this holiday season seems to be slipping rapidly past. What the hell is happening? Maybe it’s all the social media distractions, or 500 TV channels, Terrorists and world upheaval, the 2016 elections, too many events, or who knows? Hell, this weekend the Mooneyes Xmas party rocks SoCal, and

Hey, I don’t know why I seem to think out of the politically accepted box. Maybe I hit my head too many times. Maybe it’s because I’m left handed. Like I believe in educating everyone about guns, not taking them away. If you learn how to use a hammer, you are educated and not afraid.

Happy Thanksgiving, I mean it. We have a lot to be thankful for in a world filled with religious hate, bombings, and beheadings. How can we overcome the bullshit and strife and kick back. We need to be thankful for the Sun and Moon. We need to be thankful for the oceans and the crops.

Hey, Ultimate Builder Custom Competition hits Long Beach this weekend. So, we have prepped all week with new outdoor lighting, cleaning the shop, hosting folks, meetings, photo shoots, and hauling two bikes, including the 2014 cross-country Indian to the show. It’s non-stop with Jeff Najar, the boss of the Ultimate Builder Competition arriving last night

Hey, I’m a disabled Vietnam vet and so is our Performance Editor, Ray C. Wheeler. We have a lot of close brothers who are also disable veterans. My brother, David is also Cambodia veteran. I was honored to sit at a dinner table recently with my 93-year-old mom and Archie, a veteran from WWII. He

Hey, I’m sorta confused, but what’s new. Life is moving too fast. We are heading into our 20th year with Bikernet. Every year we make improvements to Bikernet and our services or die trying. As we roll into 2016 we started a major Facebook campaign and it’s already paying off. We have also been fortunate
