Hey, I’ve got a quandary I believe needs to be discussed. Michael Lichter recently turned me on to a web site made up of motorcycle scholars. I wanted to put this question to them, and maybe Bikernet readers can help me position it. I believe this is a core issue within our society: the notion

Hey, I should make this quick. I’m burning daylight. This weekend is packed once more. The 100th anniversary of Motorcyclists magazine hit the Source offices tonight with a gala bash. Try watching the movie Hemingway and Gellhorn. Amazing film from a historic prospective. Then don’t miss the interview

Hey, I had a slight glitch in my e-mail program and lost a handful of notorious e-mails. If you haven’t heard from me, instead of kicking the cat, drop me another line. I’ll make sure to get back to you. Here’s another major Bikernet announcement. Toph has gone on to marketing an apparel line, and

Hey, Today will be nuts. It’s as if I turned off the world for 12 days while sailing around the Caribbean on a fast Catamaran. I came home to 6000 e-mails and a crashing computer. It didn’t like the overload. I spent 10 days on this slippery Catamaran peeling along a half-dozen Caribbean islands. At

Hey, Last night Ray and I rode over to BA Moto in Long Beach and met up with Gary, and the BA Moto gang, with Nate at the helm. It’s a classic shop, made of a group of young ex-dealer workers who put it all on the line to make their own thing fly. Yesterday,

Hey, Could it be that all the elements are coming together? The absolutely stimulating aspect of any website is the transparency element. There’s nowhere to run, and nowhere to hide. I dislike government catch words, like Transparency, especially when they’re abused, but we won’t go there. Transparency fits perfectly with the web. If you say

Hey, We have some good news, and some good news. We recently announced the purchase of Trike Riders Now, then established Bikernet Trikes, Bikernet Baggers, and created a family of sites including Women Riders Now, all to bring you a wider variety of motorcycle entertainment. One of my major driving forces came from the magazine

Hey, Why are Thursdays nuts? Everything is fine all week, then on the busiest day, the internet goes down, we face a devastating electrical grid surge, or a computer acts up. What the hell. So this morning, my e-mails won’t download, so I can’t finish collecting news items. Fuck it, I’ll work on a motorcycle,

Hey, Life is nuts, completely nuts. The human spirit is an amazing thing. Folks will keep smiling through the toughest of times. On the other hand some folks get locked into a negative path, and can’t get out of their own way. And there’s every scenario in between. If you thought I was going someplace

Hey, If the first week of this year is any, even the slightest indication of the year as a whole, hang on. Good shit is flying at us, on a minute by minute basis. We now have enough metal in the back of the shop to build a hearty deck. You’ll get to see it

Okay, The clock is running out on the year, and 2012 will hit like Ray’s 124-inch Twin Cam on nitrous. I’m damn excited about 2012.
