Hey,
It’s Love Ride Sunday and half the Los Angeles biker population is scattered all over Interstate 5 roaring toward Lake Castaic for the event, the vendors, the rock groups, Jay Leno and Oliver S. of Glendale Harley-Davidson. Scott Long, Gard Hollinger and Harold Pontarelli packed up their creations and headed over to the lake at the crack of dawn to set up.
Parties, Vintage Auctions and Michael Lichter photo exhibits rocked Saturday around the city. Book author Tom Zimberoff’s bike was stolen last night. That’s a drag.
So what the hell am I doing here? First I’m handling the Sunday Post. It’s my job, goddamnit. The show must go on. Let’s hit the news:
The Center for Disease Control has released a list of symptoms of bird flu. If you experience any of the following, please seek medical treatment immediately:
1. High fever
2. Congestion
3. Nausea
4. Fatigue
5. Aching in the joints
6. An irresistible urge to crap on someone’s windshield.
I would like to see a test on the new Thunderheader True Duals for the Dressers the web site says they ate out in Oct 05. I have not seen them yet. Maybe a shoot out between the Rheinhart True Duals and the old Trid and true 2 into 1 Thunder header.
Another product is the thunder hart EFI module from zippers they are saying it beats the power commander, but nothing beats an independent test.
Thanks for the great web page, it is very popular Here with the soldiers in Iraq.

President Bush has authorized the Joint Chiefs to begin drawing up a battle plan to pull France’s ass out of the fire again. Facing an apparent overwhelming force of up to 400 pissed off teenagers, Mr. Bush doubts France’s ability to hold off the little pissants.
“Hell, if the last two world wars are any indication, I would expect France to surrender any day now”, said Bush.
Joint Chiefs head Gen. Peter Pace warned the President that it might be necessary to send up to 5 U.S. Marines to get things under control. The general admitted that 5 Marines may be overkill, but he wanted to get this thing under control within 24 hours of arriving on scene. He stated he was having a hard time finding even one Marine to help those ungrateful bastards out for a third time, but he thought that he could persuade a few women Marines to do the job before they went on pregnancy leave.
President Bush asked Gen. Pace to get our Marines out of there as soon as possible after order was restored. He also reminded Gen. Pace to make sure the Marines did not take soap, razors, or deodorant with them. The least they stand out the better.

We invite you to interview J. Peter Robinson as “World’s Fastest Indian” heads the theaters in Los Angeles and New York December 9. Robinson’s score sets the tone for the inspirational true life story of New Zealander Burt Munro, who spent years rebuilding a 1920 Indian motorcycle — a bike which helped him set the land-speed world record at Utah’s Bonneville Salt Flats in the 1970s. The film stars Anthony Hopkins, Bruce Greenwood and Diane Ladd and is directed by Roger Donaldson. The film is among the Top 10 highest-grossing releases in its native New Zealand.
Thank you in advance for your support. We would be happy to schedule an interview with J. Peter Robinson and to send you an advance of the score.

FILM COMPOSER J. PETER ROBINSON REVVING UP TO PREMIERE “WORLD’S FASTEST INDIAN” IN LA, NY DEC. 9
(Hollywood, CA) Multitalented musician/songwriter/composer J. Peter Robinson has scored Roger Donaldson’s film “World’s Fastest Indian,” which just premiered at the 2005 Toronto International Film Festival. Among New Zealand’s Top 10 local earning films of all time, “World’s Fastest Indian” will premiere in Los Angeles and New York December 9 with a limited national release on February 3, 2006. This project marks the third time Peter Robinson has collaborated with Donaldson.
Peter Robinson’s score to the action-comedy “Mr. Nice Guy” was the third of a three-picture deal for New Line Cinema and Jackie Chan, which included “Rumble in the Bronx” and “Jackie Chan’s First Strike.” Robinson’s longtime relationship with New Line Cinema grew from several collaborations with horror legend Wes Craven. His scores for Craven include “Wes Craven’s New Nightmare,” “Vampire in Brooklyn,” “Nightmare Caf?” and “Don’t Look Down.” New Line also turned to Robinson to score the sizzling opening sequence for “Frequency.” Other Robinson credits include “Fifteen Minutes,” “Wayne’s World,” “Encino Man” and co-composing the end title song for the animated film “The Wild Thornberrys”
Robinson became so busy composing for film that he reluctantly stopped touring as a rock and roll musician-a career that spanned more than twenty years and included a eight-year stint as Phil Collins’ keyboard player and collaborations as a writer, arranger, and/or co-producer with Eric Clapton, Melissa Etheridge and Al Jarreau, to name a few.

Here are the First pictures of Branscombe Riding “Headhunter” from the movie “The Ironhorsemen”. I should have available shortly pictures taken by a professional photographer for use in a press release and added distribution. I will copy you with those as well when they become available.
I thought all you guy’s would enjoy seeing the rolling art (or perhaps paving machine) we built for the movie “The Ironhorsemen”. This is the first time BR has been able to ride “Headhunter”. We had a blast feeling out how this monster moves.
I am not sure that you are aware but John Milius has been the executive producer for the very successful HBO movie that replaced “The Soprano’s” it is called “Rome” . This has affected his efforts on getting “The Ironhorsemen” off the ground. It is still envisioned for spring 2006 filming however, and we are to meet and show John the bikes sometime in the next few weeks. We will send out a press release and info to each of you at that time.

Should You Be Institutionalized?
It doesn’t hurt to take a hard look at yourself from time to time, and his should help get you started.
During a visit to the mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director what the criterion was which defined whether or not a patient should be institutionalized.
“Well,” said the Director, “we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to empty the bathtub.”
“Oh, I understand,” said the visitor. “A normal person would use the bucket because it’s bigger than the spoon or the teacup.”
“No.” said the Director, “A normal person would pull the plug. Do you want a room with or without a view?”

LA CROSSE , WI (November 9, 2005) The S&S Cycle logo is recognized as a sign of Proven Performance in the V-Twin industry. Thanks to that recognition, S&S T-shirts and hats have always been very popular among the men who ride fast V-Twin powered machines. Now, for 2006, S&S has added a whole new line of women’s and children’s apparel, along with plenty of new items for the guys-just in time for holiday gift giving and easy to shop for on the S&S website http://www.sscycle.com or at your local dealer.
All of your favorite classic men’s styles are still available, with lots of exciting additions this year. A selection of the new items includes mechanic gloves, bold new T-shirt designs and some polo and long sleeve button down shirts. But the big news is the new gear for women and children.
Everything from jackets and sweatshirts to V-Neck and T-Strap tank tops are now available for women. There had been overwhelming requests for S&S to recreate the Marge Smith T-shirt, so it is back and available in both long and short sleeve styles. Along with the new styles, you will find plenty of new colors in case you want to get away from basic black shirts-and S&S apparel makes a great holiday gift for the women you know who ride, or want to ride.
“We attend a lot of shows and rallies across the country and we listen to what our customers ask us for,” said James Simonelli, Communications and Events Manager at S&S. “Our customers told us they wanted a broader selection of S&S wearables, so we created a new line of apparel that has something for just about everyone.”

I have been riding my 2004 Electra-Glide so much I have not been riding my other motorcycles enough.
I have lowered the price on my rigid frame to $8,500.00. I have been neglecting it by not riding it enough. It still is in good condition and runs great.
I think motorcycles should be ridden and not sit in garages so I want to find someone who will appreciate it and ride it.
