We are moving the archives this week to Sturgis. We have a crew in LA and we are working on Main in Sturgis to prepare for the docs and old shit.
We are wrapping up the Jan/Feb issue, and it’s crazy cool. I need to check more layouts, read more text and start planning for the 599th issue. Hang On!

GOVERNMENT SHUTDOQWN ENDS–
The Schumer shut down has been shut down! President Donald Trump signed legislation ending a historic 43 day shutdown, and pushing the next funding deadline into late January. “Today we’re sending a clear message that we will never give in to extortion,” Trump said. He was referring to the dirty Democrats demanding that the GOP leaders bow to their demands. The GOP held the line this time, tho. The Dems were finally forced to cave in without their ridiculous Obamacare demands.
Trump signed the bill Wednesday night, providing funding for most federal agencies. The bill will expire at midnight on Jan 30. Eight Democrats crossed the aisle to advance the package.
The Trumpster also mentioned nixing the Senate filibuster once again. “If we had the filibuster terminated, this would never happen again,” Trump said of the shutdown. “And don’t forget, we have another date coming up in the not-too-distant future.” He is correct.. we could go through this whole mess again in about two months.

PENNSYLVANIA EXITS CLIMATE SCHEME–
The CO2 Coalition’s efforts in Pennsylvania to repeal the economically crippling Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) have finally paid off. The state’s pending participation in this interstate carbon tax was killed this week as part of budget negotiations in Harrisburg.
We have testified multiple times before both the Pennsylvania House and the Senate and spoken to multiple organizations concerning this harmful climate pact, providing the facts about the benefits of modest warming and more CO2 in the Keystone State.
The former chairman of a Pennsylvania House environmental and energy committee, Daryl Metcalfe, had this to say about our efforts:
“I was thrilled to hear that RGGI has finally been defeated in Pennsylvania. During our battle over the years against this flawed policy that was going to harm our citizens, the CO2 Coalition was a great ally in the fight. I thank them for their continued work to protect our citizens and our economy from flawed policies that seek to reduce our ability to utilize our God-given resources to produce energy.”
