BIKERNET SUNDAY POST UPDATES

outside

From the roof of the Headquarters. Finally some sun!

Raining In The Ghetto–I just got off the phone with Bandit, who is in Cincinnati at the V-Twin Expo. In his opinion, it was a good show. He went to talk about the pros and cons of trying to join the motorcycle industry with SEMA. 70 people attended the meeting this morning and all voted for it. We?ll see where that goes.

On the home front, we?ve had a rain-filled weekend so I?ve just been trying to keep myself and the menagerie of animals we have dry and warm.

If you read the Thursday News last week, you know we were having difficulties with Bandit?s Mac. He (or I) somehow wiped that sucker clean. Fortunately he had a backup CD with all of his documents, but all the rework he did on the Chance book last weekend while in Primm, NV was lost. There is a lesson here but I won?t go there cause it?s a sore subject right now. Maybe ten years from now we can laugh about it?

Without further ado; here is your Sunday Post.

MILWAUKEE (Jan. 30, 2009) ? A new luggage rack and tail bag from Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Accessories are designed to add touring and commuting versatility to 2008-later Sportster XR1200 models.

The new curved black Luggage Rack for XR1200 (P/N 53920-08, $119.95) complements the sporting lines of the rear fender. Made from reinforced polymer and steel, the rack features molded tie-down notches that easily accept cargo net or bungee cord hooks for secure loading.

The removable Tail Bag for XR1200 (P/N 90409-08, $169.95) is specifically shaped to fit over the passenger pillion of the XR1200 model. The molded bag is covered with charcoal-colored UV- and weather-resistant nylon, and is finished with a simulated carbon fiber top insert. The rigid molded body maintains its shape when empty. The large center compartment and two small side compartments are secured with full-length, water-resistant zippers. A bungee cord web on the bag top can be used to secure small items like a hat, gloves or water bottle. Quick-release clips allow the bag to be removed from the motorcycle for packing. The bag doubles as a backpack when used with the included padded shoulder straps and has a comfortable carrying handle. Luggage capacity: 1040 cubic inches.

One Too Many

Top Four 2008 Adult Jokes —

Fourth Place :
A man bumps into a woman in a hotel lobby and as he does, his elbow goes into her breast. They are both quite startled.

The man turns to her and says, ‘Ma’am, if your heart is as soft as your breast, I know you’ll forgive me.’

She replies, ‘If your penis is as hard as your elbow, I’m in room 221.’

Third Place :
One night, as a couple lays down for bed, the husband starts rubbing his wife’s arm.
The wife turns over and says ‘I’m sorry honey, I’ve got a gynecologist appointment tomorrow and I want to stay fresh.’
The husband, rejected, turns over.
A few minutes later, he rolls back over and taps his wife again.
‘Do you have a dentist appointment tomorrow too?’

Runner Up:
Bill worked in a pickle factory. He had been employed there for a number of years when he came home one day to confess to his wife that he had a terrible compulsion. He had an urge to stick his penis into the pickle slicer. His wife suggested that he should see a sex therapist to talk about it, but Bill said he would be too embarrassed. He vowed to overcome the compulsion on his own.

One day a few weeks later, Bill came home and his wife could see at once that something was seriously wrong. ‘What’s wrong, Bill?’ she asked. ‘Do you remember that I told you how I had this tremendous urge to put my penis into the pickle slicer?’ ‘Oh, Bill, you didn’t’ she exclaimed. ‘Yes, I did.’ he replied.

‘My God, Bill, what happened?’

‘I got fired.’ ‘No, Bill. I mean, what happened with the pickle slicer?’ ‘Oh…she got fired too.’

Winner: A couple had been married for 50 years. They were sitting at the breakfast table one morning when the wife says, ‘Just think, fifty years ago we were sitting here at this breakfast table together.’ ‘I know,’ the old man said. ‘We were probably sitting here naked as a jaybird fifty years ago.’ ‘Well,’ Granny snickered. ‘Let’s relive some old times.’ Where upon, the two stripped to the buff and sat down at the table. ‘You know, honey,’ the little old lady breathlessly replied, ‘My nipples are as hot for you today as they were fifty years ago.’ ‘I wouldn’t be surprised,’ replied Gramps. ‘One’s in your coffee and the other is in your oatmeal

CHECK OUT THESE TIRES !– These tires are made in South Carolina , USA

tire 2

SEE THROUGH TIRES Radical new tire design by Michelin. The next generation of tires. They had a pair at the Philadelphia car show.

tire 3

Yes, those are ‘spoke’ like connections to the inner part of the tire from the outside tread ‘wrap!’ The next picture shows how odd it looks in motion… Makes you wonder how the ride feels doesn’t it?

tire 4

These tires are airless and are scheduled to be out on the market very soon. The bad news for law enforcement is that spike strips will not work on these. Just think of the impact on existing technology:

A. no more air valves…
B. no more air compressors at gas stations…
C. no more repair kits…
D. no more flats…

These are actual pictures taken in the South Carolina plant of Michelin.

Gangster Chopper Survives Easyrider Tour in Louisville– Making the trip to Louisville was a tough one! With the Gangster Van loaded up with Swag we left Richmond at the crack of dawn, the plan was to drive straight thru to Louisville non stop. Crossing into West Virginia the snow and sleet started, no plows, no salt spreaders, it seemed like it was just us on the highway. We made frequent gas stops to adjust air pressure in the tires, clean the windshield and the headlights. The sun didn’t shine thru the storm clouds all day, phone calls back to the Gangster Choppers Global Headquarters revealed that a record breaking storm had hit the area! Power was out, roads were closed,

gangster snowy road 1

WOW the mayhem!

We pressed thru and made the show date. I am personally glad we did, I met the most sincere and true bikers anywhere in the USA in Louisville. The storm had weeded out the fakes, the posers. The spectators were telling me stories about cutting tree limbs out of the roadway to drive there, many was without electricity but still came out.

As always we bring you the story with pictures! Enjoy.

Red Velvet Cake?is making me sick. I can?t stop eating it! When Bandit is home, we eat so healthy. When he goes away, I cheat.

We have been really screwed up here at Bikernet, with Bandit being gone the last three weekends in a row. I don?t think he has anything planned for a long time now so the Sunday Post and Thursday News columns should get back to normal.

Also, lets all say a prayer for Australia. They have had a horrible heat wave for over two weeks and now an out of control fire that?s killed over 100 people.
