Hey,
I don’t know where to start. Above is the mag cover with Sabina about to roll to the printer next week. We are working with our crew scrambling to have some wild Xmas merch ready for the holidays.

I’m shooting for trying to have these buckles made again. Check the copyright on the back 1973-’78. Crazy I bought two on Ebay to have examples. Let’s see what happens.

We were thinking about a pin, but we have a few vintage pins to sell, but I love this one. It’s almost 3 inches long. We may order it more like 2 inches long.

Let me know what you think. And were thinking about a couple of scarves.

We are going to rework this art with Danial James input and it will come alive.

This happens on a regular basis. Someone rebuilds a stock West Coast Choppers bike and is excited to have it featured. That also goes for other manufactured customs like Big Dog. I find it hard to feature a stock bike, even when it’s very cool. Jack McIntyre is going to shoot this puppy and we will run it on our blog, so you can see how cool it is. And we will feature original stuff in the magazine where it belongs.
The Bikernet Weekly News was created by our non-stop, never give up staff: The Redhead, Wayfarer, LA Laura, Viscous Vickie, Danial James, Freak Show Team, Sturgis Prospect Kendra, Paul Davis, Agent Zebra and Berry Wardlaw.

SEMA HOSTING A CUSTOM BIKE SHOW THIS YEAR–SEMA is expanding a dedicated Powersports / SxS / Lifestyle section in West Hall and grouping it with trucks and off-road. Harley-Davidson is joining that area, and Battle of the Builders now has its first Bike Builder Shootout. Custom motorcycles are no longer a side attraction; they have a defined home and a competition of their own.
Core benefits
1. The right audience, in one place
SEMA draws a large mix of buyers, dealers, distributors, OEM accessory teams, media, and influencers. Many attendees already own or accessorize multiple vehicles (trucks, UTVs, bikes). A standout custom bike puts your work in front of people who buy parts, place orders, and set trends—not just other builders. Display vehicles consistently pull traffic into booths; bikes photograph and stop people as well as cars do.
2. Visibility that lasts past the show
A well-executed custom bike gets shot by media, posted by attendees, and reused in coverage for months. SEMA is still one of the highest-leverage stages in North American vehicle culture. A bike that wins or even places in the new Bike Builder Shootout gets a clearer headline than “cool bike in the hall.”
3. Business, not just applause
Builders and shops use SEMA to:
Meet parts makers and negotiate better supply or co-branded builds
Talk to dealers and accessory buyers
Land media features and social amplification
Test which looks and mods actually get reaction before committing to a product line
Even a modest presence can justify the trip if it produces one serious partnership or a wave of inbound interest.
4. Timing matches the market
SEMA’s own research points to crossover ownership: a large share of automotive aftermarket customers also ride or buy powersports gear. Putting custom bikes in the same hall as trucks and adventure vehicles matches how customers actually live. The new section is designed around that overlap.
5. Friday public day + SEMA Fest
Thursday is still trade-focused. Friday opens to the public and SEMA Fest runs the same night. That gives you both industry conversations and a broader enthusiast audience in the same week.
Practical framing if you’re pitching this
A custom bike at SEMA is not “another show display.” It is:
Proof of craft in front of people who fund and sell customization
A magnet for the booth or brand you represent
A chance to compete in a new official category
Content and relationships that keep working after you leave Vegas

WORLD THREAT FROM PUBLIC NEWS–Totalitarianism in France, Germany, and Australia May Not Seem To Affect You. It Does. They want to censor people like you over there so they can do it again over here.
By Michael Shellenberger of the Public Substack
Governments in France, Germany, and Australia are trying to censor and perhaps even shut down X. French police raided X’s Paris office and summoned Elon Musk. Berlin demands an end to anonymity online. Canberra wants the power to delete anything it decides “may cause serious harm.” Same thing across the Western world, from Spain to Britain to Canada.
It is easy to see why we might not think foreign attacks on Musk’s X are our problem. We live in America. We have the First Amendment. Let the French do what they’re going to do.
Except it is our problem.
In fact, it’s the same one we’ve been fighting since 2022 when we first reported on the Twitter Files.
The Paris prosecutor told the world her case was about “foreign interference.” Sound familiar? That was the basis of Russiagate and the justification for censoring the New York Post’s story about Hunter Biden’s laptop.
And just like it was nonsense back then, it’s nonsense now. And, just like then, it’s essential that we expose the misinformation and disinformation to prevent it from being used for censorship.
That’s what we did today. In a major exclusive, Public learned directly from a member of France’s National Assembly who triggered the criminal investigation against X.
“I am questioning interference by the owner of X, and not foreign interference.” What upset him was that his feed had become “more and more politically oriented, all going in one particular direction.”
That’s all. He did not like what he was reading. And for that, the government is trying to rob its citizens of a fundamental freedom: the right to express their opinion.
The Twitter Files showed a single censorship complex — government agencies, NGOs, academics, and platform executives — using “foreign interference” to silence Americans.
It’s never just been a domestic operation. A single, unified, and tightly coordinated censorship industrial complex operates across borders and oceans.
We helped expose it and defund it. Our exposés and President Trump’s executive orders effectively ended federal online censorship.
But we did not kill it. It moved to Paris, Berlin, and Canberra, where the AfD had just won 44% in an eastern German state, and One Nation was surging in Australia, and where voters had started learning from X what their newspapers would not print.
When Democrats return to power, they may point to Europe and say America is the outlier. They will call it AI safety. And the machine will come home.
Every censorship law that passes over there is the precedent they will cite over here. That’s why we are exposing what’s happening over there.
None of this was possible without our paying subscribers. Become one today to protect free speech here by exposing censorship over there.

HARLEY-DAVIDSON AND THE MARLBORO MAN BIKES–A feature is coming to Easyriders Magazine next year.
Bandit,
Thank you for your time and shaping the culture over all these years
I’d like to propose an Easyriders feature on the Black Death motorcycles from Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man: their creation at Bartels Harley-Davidson, roles in the film, separate histories, and reunion nearly 35 years later.
This story is personal. Your May 1997 Easyriders article launched my nearly 30-year quest to acquire both bikes and bring them back together. It also offers a chance to examine their influence on biker culture and a generation of riders.
The feature would identify BD3, the MGM studio/stunt bike; document how each motorcycle was used; and recognize original builders Gene Thomason and David Fournier, who recently inspected and approved the reunited bikes. It would also explore Mickey Rourke’s connection to his personal hero bike, Roland Sands’ role in helping us acquire it, and include a 40-minute interview with Mickey discussing the motorcycle and its history.
With firsthand interviews, photographs and documentation, we can separate fact from legend and preserve the story of two of film’s most iconic motorcycles. Easyriders is the natural home for it—your 1997 article began the journey.
I’m planning to visit during the week of September 14 and would be glad to coordinate around your schedule.
Link to article you did on the MGM studio bike when I acquired it back in 2011.

THIS JUST IN FROM THE CERTIFIED ER MONK–Today I Decide to Have a Perfect Day
Thoughts Are Things
Through the One Mind, all things are created. The invisible becomes visible through the power of Mind. Today I consciously choose thoughts that are good and very good.
Any idea of limitation has no place in my consciousness. I release thoughts of lack, fear, and doubt and replace them with Faith, possibility, and expectancy. I know what I consistently think, believe, and accept manifests in My Life.
Today I remove the walls of fear, doubt, and confusion that block the Flow of Good into my Life. I open myself to receive and express the Good that is always available to me.
The Past Has No Power Over the Present
Today I live fully in the Present, releasing the past and all that no longer serves me. I let go of limiting thoughts, old beliefs, regrets, and conversations that build walls between me and my Greater Good. The past may have taught me lessons, but it does not determine my today or my tomorrow. In this moment, I am free to choose again.
Today I open myself to unlimited possibilities. I live this day to the fullest, Grateful for the gift of Now.
I Am Fearless as I Go Through My Day
I move confidently through this day, knowing that Life is unfolding perfectly.
I am Guided, Guarded, and Supplied. Whatever comes before me, I have the Faith, Wisdom, and Strength to meet it.
Today my Life is filled with Confidence, Joy, Love, Peace, Health, Prosperity, Abundance, and Harmony. I live with Faith, Trust, and Expectancy, opening myself to receive the Gifts that are already mine.
Today I Experience Freedom in Every Part of My Life
I turn within to my Space for the Strength and Guidance to stay on my Right Path. I know that my Life is openly supplied and that I am Perfect, Whole, and Complete.
Today I raise my level of Faith, Trust, and Consciousness. I know that Spirit is my Unlimited Source and that there is more than enough Good available to me.
I open my Mind and Heart to the Infinite Possibilities of living a Complete, Whole, and Perfect Life. I Trust, Expect, Accept, and Give Thanks for all the Good that is unfolding in My Life.
And So It Is.
Today I decide to have a Perfect Day.
Questions for Today
What thoughts am I choosing today, and are they creating the Life I truly desire?
What from my past am I ready to release so I can live more fully in the gift of today?
What would my day look and feel like if I truly expected, trusted, and accepted that Good is unfolding in my Life right now?

Last weekend during European Bike Week 2026, custom bike competitions were held, where a machine from Poland won a total of three awards. Built by Rzeszów-based Game Over Cycles, the “Slow Burn motorcycle received the People’s Choice Award and took 1st place in the Bagger/Tourer category at the Harley-Davidson Custom Motorcycle Show. In another competition—the Arneitz Custom Bike Show—the Polish bike was named the best motorcycle of the event and won the Best of Show award.
European Bike Week is the largest motorcycle rally in Europe and the biggest event organized by the legendary Harley-Davidson brand on the continent. Held annually at Lake Faak in Austria, it attracts an average of 100,000 attendees. Stanisław Myszkowski, founder and owner of Game Over Cycles, commented after the event: “We are extremely delighted with the awards we received. This is already our fifth People’s Choice Award earned at the largest event in Europe. Looking at competitions in Europe and the United States combined, this is the third time Bill Davidson—great-grandson of one of Harley-Davidson’s founders—presented an award to us. It is always a pleasure to show and talk about a machine built in Poland to a member of the family that created such legendary motorcycle brand.
Slow Burn bike goes beyond the boundaries of a standard vehicle. Of course, it has two wheels and drives, but we are happy that both the judges and the public appreciated the clean lines, the precision of every component, and above all, how the automotive styling was translated onto a motorcycle Slow Burn is a custom motorcycle inspired by the car of the same name, which is 1936 Auburn 852 Boattail Speedster owned by James Hetfield, lead singer and guitarist of Metallica.
Designers from Poland built the custom bike as a sister vehicle to the classic car belonging to the famous musician. The body lines of the motorcycle exactly mirror the shape of the Slow Burn, and its construction echoes the components of the car. The front lamp imitates the front of a car with a radiator, the rear lamps look like car lights, and the steering wheel and levers are made in the style of the windshield frame. Additionally, the front fender is finished with a chrome cover, just like the Slow Burn’s fenders, the 30″ front wheel i inspired by the appearance of a car wheel, and the entire rear of the motorcycle forms a symmetrical line with the rear of the car.
The biggest technical challenge of the project was reproducing the lines of the car on the motorcycle. Game Over Cycles’ designers took care of every detail, visually connecting the vehicle’s exterior (the elements mentioned above) and interior (the leather on the motorcycle reflects the car’s upholstery). Another challenge was scale. The motorcycle had to have large enough proportions to reflect the shape of the Slow Burn’s line., and considering who the owner of the car is, the Game Over Cycles team adjusted the proportions of the bike to James Hetfield’s height (185 cm/6 ft 1), which was a particular challenge in the context of maintaining the proportions of the entire vehicle.
At the same time, the entire structure had to be kept in the spirit of the style in which the original vehicle was built, the 1936 Auburn Speedster has a characteristic Art Deco style. This style, both in art and architecture, was expressed in an ordered and coherent form. It is characterized by symmetrical patterns, arcs, ovals and ellipses. The team were inspired by the form and function of the Art Deco movement, from vehicles, fashion and interior design, in which works were distinguished by their unique aesthetics, craftsmanship and the use of high-quality materials.
The entire structure of the motorcycle is made of steel. It does not contain any plastic elements. The vehicle is characterized by a clean body line, which means that all screws are covered. The machine is 3.3 meters long (10,8 ft) and weighs 400 kg (880 lb). The time spent on building the vehicle amounted to 7,000 man-hours. Rick Dore, an American custom car designer, who together with James Hetfield restored the Auburn 852, said: “When we’ve seen the pictures of the motorcycle that Game Over built, we were knocked out. It’s an incredible vehicle, especially when you compare it to James' car. The body, the wheels, color, even the levers, everything was right on with the Slow Burn. My hats off to Game Over, they did great job and the craftsmanship was out of this world.”
Stanisław Myszkowski, founder and owner of Game Over Cycles, explains the genesis of the project: “Metallica has always been a huge artistic inspiration for me. I am a fan of both the band’s music and the visuals that accompany their art. James Hetfield is a huge automotive fan, he collects and restores vintage cars, so we decided to combine these two worlds and build a motorcycle inspired by James’ vehicle.”
The motorcycle had its premiere in March 2024 at the Daytona Bike Week, one of the largest motorcycle rallies in the world held annually in Florida (around 500 000 participants in 2026). Custom motorcycle from Poland won 4 awards at 2 competitions organized during Daytona Bike Week 2024. In the prestigious Boardwalk Bike Show, the GOC motorcycle won first place in the Extreme Bagger category and the Best of Show award for the best vehicle in the competition. In the Rat’s Hole Custom Bike Show, the oldest custom competition in the world, the Polish vehicle again won the Extreme Bagger category and one more time was recognized by the jury as the best motorcycle in the entire competition winning Best of Show for the second time.
You can see the full appearance of the motorcycle, along with a presentation of references to the car, in the video above.

CLIMATE HOAX FILE IS NOW OPEN–Real-World Data Do Not Show Droughts Getting Worse Globally. Scientists Invented A “Rubbish” Measure That Does.
Researchers created an assumptions-dependent index after rainfall measurements did not show change. Then, they applied it to the past.
This comes from Michael Shellenberger’s substack called Public News.
Climate change is making droughts worse, say scientists and journalists. The atmosphere’s growing “thirst” has “made droughts 40% more severe across the globe,” said the University of Oxford in 2025, referring to a paper published in Nature, which the New York Times and many others covered. “From 2018 to 2022, the global land area experiencing drought rose by 74%,” said the lead author, Solomon Gebrechorkos.
Others had calculated similar numbers. “Human-driven climate change is leading to a permanent state of increased dryness on 77.6% of the Earth’s land masses,” reported Time in 2024, a figure computed by dividing rain by a temperature-based estimate of the air’s thirst. “Confirmed: Global floods, droughts worsening with warming,” said an Associated Press headline in 2023. “The landmasses of the planet are drying,” said ProPublica in July 2025.
But the rain gauges that measure drought directly show no substantial global change in at least 120 years. “Meteorological droughts do not show any substantial changes at the global scale in at least the last 120 years,” noted a 2022 review by Sergio Vicente-Serrano, a Spanish climatologist.
A meteorological drought is a drought measured by rainfall. The same review said an increase in the severity of agricultural and ecological droughts “seems to emerge as a consequence of the increase in the severity of AED,” the air’s demand for water, which is a calculation rather than a measurement.
In western Europe, this year’s dry spring showed no climate signal in the rain, “suggesting that climate change did not play a role in the meteorological drought at the regional scale,” said a July report from World Weather Attribution, a group of scientists who put numbers on climate change’s share of the blame for weather disasters. The same report said such highly evaporative conditions “have become about 80 times more likely” and such a soil drought “about 5 times more likely.”
The worst drought year in the American West in a thousand years came in 1934, when the air held 308 parts per million of carbon dioxide, just a fifth of the way from the pre-industrial 280 to today’s 428. During that year, “over 70% of western North America experienced extreme drought,” said a 2014 paper, which blamed a stuck ridge of high pressure, possibly amplified by dust blowing off plowed fields
The United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has been blunt about this reality. “There is low confidence in the emergence of drought frequency in observations, for any type of drought, in all regions,” the IPCC concluded in its 2021 assessment of the science.
Public’s investigative journalism exposes climate misinformation and holds institutions to account.

LATEST FROM MAGNETO MOUNTAIN–Fully Automatic Morris Magneto for ’69 and earlier XL Harley-Davidsons and flatheads – Same feature as our M5: has what’s called an “impulse coupler” for hot spark no matter how slow you want to kick. The startin’est thing around! This magneto will fit all HD Flatheads, and XL’s to 1970 if carburetor is shifted or angled (magneto itself is shifted 1.635 from normal magneto location but is also 1.9 inches higher than normal).
I have one of these on a 1946 Knucklehead. It’s amazing. It’s been sitting there for 20 years and once of twice a year I kickstart the bike and take it for a ride. You don’t really kick it, just push it through and it goes.

THERE’S MORE–I have a couple of deals for you from the same guy, Cabana Dan in Sturgis. I went to his new digs the other day to check out some Shovelheads.
He has five sorta stock Shovels and they are all cone models. Only one reached out to me, but I just don’t have the room for it. I’m working on a plan to create more room. Good luck with that. He’s asking low prices.

These two puppies are Harley Toppers and I was intrigued. They are too cool, need a service and batteries, otherwise they are ready to roll. Both of them for $5000.00. Not bad. But what the hell would I do with two of them. Dan is in Sturgis but his number is 262-909-6973.

I need to finish removing the salt from the Bonne Belle.

Here are some shots of Dan’s Bikes. He want’s about 5k apiece, or he’ll cut you a break if you buy more than one.

There’s also a side car available.

I was intrigued with this one. There are a couple more. Call Dan if you’re serious. He is building a 1913 Excelsior-Henderson and his girl, Christina is building a chopper and we’re going to feature her trike. Hang On! Next week I’ll tease you about the next issue, Jan/Feb 2027.
