Hey,
I love America and Americans. Charlie Kirk was assassinated and we stepped back, we grieved, we put another notch on the board, and we got up the next morning and took care of our families.
Bikers do the same when a brother is killed on the road. We step back, we lament, we carve another notch on the wall, and we get up the next morning, we take care of our brothers and sisters and move on.
But those notches are growing in number. And there will come a time when we say enough is enough.
Let’s hit the news.

The News was provided by the Bikernet Team including: Wayfarer, the Redhead, Bob T. Sam Burns, Rogue, Laura, Barry Green, El Waggs, J.J. Solari, Amy White, Jenn and the rest of the crew.

Harrisburg, Pa. — A bill requiring mandatory helmet use, HB 1809, has been introduced in the General Assembly. If enacted, it would repeal the current exemptions based on age or experience. Existing state law requires riders under 21 or those without at least two years of experience or a safety course to wear a helmet.

THE KING IS BACK–WYMAN REIGNS AGAIN
Kyle Wyman is your 2025 Mission King of the Baggers Champion. After a few seasons without the crown, he came into COTA needing only three points—but he didn’t coast.
He delivered a race that reminded everyone how dangerous he is when the title’s on the line, and the crowd knew they were watching the return of a rider built for this moment.
KYLE WYMAN LOCKS DOWN 2025 KING OF THE BAGGERS TITLE
Austin, Texas — September 13, 2025
The Mission King of the Baggers crown is officially back with Harley-Davidson. Kyle Wyman just sealed the 2025 King of The Baggers championship at Circuit of the Americas, completing what has been nothing short of a dominating season. Riding his race-prepped Harley-Davidson Road Glide, Wyman needed only three points going into COTA, and he got ’em… Emphatically.
Circuit of the Americas wasn’t always supposed to be the place where the numbers finally added up, but after Mid-Ohio last month, the message became crystal clear: the title was Kyle Wyman’s to lose. The Harley factory racer arrived in Austin with a lead so large the rest of the grid was chasing shadows, and all he needed was three points to secure the crown.
By the time the checkered flag fell, the math was complete and the story was written: Kyle Wyman is once again the King of the Baggers, delivering Harley-Davidson Factory Racing another season of dominance on the Road Glide® that has carried him to the top of the class.
The win feels less like a surprise and more like the culmination of a season where everything clicked.
Rider and machine were in lockstep from the very first round. Where rivals fought for scraps, Wyman built momentum. Where others struggled for consistency, he collected podiums with clockwork precision.
Eleven races in, his results tell their own story: seven victories, two thirds, a second-place finish, and today’s fourth-place finish. The only time he stepped off the box all season was today, and even so, it was enough to give him the clinch.

THE WIN FEELS LESS LIKE A SURPRISE AND MORE LIKE THE CULMINATION OF A SEASON WHERE EVERYTHING CLICKED.

2025 NATIONAL MOTORCYCLING PROFILING SURVEY– QR CODE.
The National Motorcycle Profiling Survey consists of five questions aimed at identifying profiling trends to allocate resources effectively. Participation, which takes about one minute and requires no personal information, can positively impact the community.
The data collected has been crucial for lobbying at state and national levels, helping grassroots activists address motorcycle-related issues. The survey’s significance was recognized in House Resolution 366 during the 117th Congress.
With over 84,000 participants, the survey boasts a 99% accuracy rate, revealing that many motorcyclists face law enforcement targeting based on appearance. This information has supported various legislative efforts, including Louisiana’s recent success in passing an Anti-Motorcycle Profiling bill.

NEW ELECTRIC WN-7 HONDA—Honda’s first…
Honda is dipping into the electric motorcycle segment. They have introduced the WN-7, which they will begin to produce in late 2025. Expect to be able to actually purchase one in early 2026, if Honda’s forecasting is to be trusted.
Currently Europe-Only
This is only, of course, if you live in Europe – there’s no word on when or if Honda will make the WN-7 available to the rest of the world. If it’s a roaring success, everyone else will no doubt see it soon after Europe. Let’s take a look at the specs to gauge the chances of that runaway success.
Fast-Charge Compatible
The good news is, it’s CCS2 compatible, which means you can plug it in at car charging stations, and it claims an 80% charge in… “only” 30 minutes. If you opt for an at-home charger, that will take four hours instead.
What does all that time get you? Honda says “more than” 130km of range from full charge. That’s a hair shy of 81 miles. Compared to the electric bikes already on the market, these specs are, so far, no cause for great fanfare.
Honda has the cajones to call this thing “svelte” at 217kg (478lbs). It houses an 18kw motor – if it’s fair to convert here, that’s 24hp, which Honda calls “an output level similar to that of a 600cc internal combustion engine.” I don’t know quite which 600cc bikes they’ve been riding. To be fair, it puts out 100Nm of torque which is no slouch, so it will get off the line pretty fast.

BIKERNET GUN NUT REPORT–
What have got to be the dumbest, craziest, most hairbrained gun laws currently on the books in the United States.
But wait!
There’s one that only seems crazy.
1. Let’s see if you agree.
New York: No food shaped like a gun
It’s illegal to sell food or food products packaged in the shape of a firearm. Of course, if you’re caught, you can just eat your “evidence.”
2. Foreign parts gun rule: Too many imported bits, felony time
Federal law can turn a completely legal rifle into a felony if it contains more than 10 foreign-made parts out of a total of 20…
Swap in U.S. parts, and suddenly it’s kosher!
3. National “red-flag” law patchwork
Red‑flag laws — allowing guns to be temporarily seized if someone is deemed dangerous — exist in 21 states plus D.C.
But each state has wildly different processes and thresholds, so it’s a legal rollercoaster depending where you live.
4. High-capacity magazine bans — inconsistent and quirky
Several states ban magazines over 10 – 20 rounds, but rules vary so much. What’s legal in one place is criminal in another — sometimes within a few miles!
5. Kennesaw, GA: Mandatory Gun Ownership
An ordinance from the 1980s requires every head of household to own a firearm and ammunition — though, it’s never been enforced and carries no penalties.
And it’s this last law that I just love!
Crazy?
Only to some.
It’s the one law that has a history that goes WAY back, almost a thousand years…
Did you know that, until the 1700s, English law REQUIRED each citizen not only to be armed but to be an expert in arms?
Why?
Because it promoted mutual and private defense. Kept order in society.
And that’s something no gun-shaped sandwich can do!
Take care and stay safe,

THE HARLEY-DAVIDSON UPDATE-–
Vreeland HD in PA closing after 35 years, business can’t make it through the winter downturn.
That makes about a dozen this month alone.
Also had three independent harley repair shops within 90 minutes of me close for good since I returned from Sturgis and they all held auctions, another one going down on Thursday of this week, 75 minutes away.
I attended each one of these auctions and every buyer I could find was a private collector, not other shops.

Yamaha Motor University Supports Youth Technical Education with Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum
Yamaha Continues to Engage the Next Generation of Powersports Technicians
Yamaha Motor University (YMU) has announced its latest collaboration in growing the next generation of powersports enthusiasts. Working closely with the Barber Vintage Motorcycle Museum, YMU created a series of custom-built circuit boards that replicate the starting systems found on modern Yamaha motorcycles. These interactive electrical systems allow for hands-on exploration and testing of key concepts required when diagnosing real-world electrical problems, while illustrating lessons from YMU’s industry-leading dealer training program, the Yamaha Technical Academy.
Yamaha Motor University Supports Youth Technical Education with Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum
Built in-house at Yamaha’s headquarters in Kennesaw, Georgia, these circuit boards will allow YMU and Barber Museum to bring an even closer connection to thrilling Yamaha motorcycles for the thousands of students that participate in Barber Museum’s education programs.
Through a combination of school field trips and the Barber Design Camp, the museum’s education program led by Dr. Liz Johnson engages students of all ages with hands-on, experiential learning opportunities that connect the thrills of motorsports with the worlds of science, technology, engineering, math, art, and design.
These experiences spark creativity, bolster critical thinking, and illustrate how foundational classroom lessons can lead to full-time careers.

“Yamaha Motor University is proud to team-up with the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum to launch this hands-on STEM lab,” said YMU Manager John Grubb. “Modeled after our YZF-R3 motorcycle’s starting system, these boards will provide visiting students an engaging way to learn about electrical circuits using a real-world motorsports application.”
“We’re thrilled to collaborate with Yamaha to bring its technical expertise directly into our program here at Barber,” said Dr. Johnson. “This new module will not only enrich the learning experiences we offer but also open doors to career pathways in STEM and the motorsports industry. These opportunities allow us to show generations to come that the same knowledge and skills they’re building here and in their classrooms are the very ones driving the future.”
YMU and the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum are uniquely positioned to blend history with up-to-date OEM learning, engaging with and strengthening the next generation of leaders and visionaries.

WATCH OUT FOR THIS ONE–
A unique consent decree between Utah Physicians for a Healthy Environment and four Harley-Davidson dealerships in the state has been submitted to a federal district court judge for possible approval.
The decree means the dealership will pay a $450,000 penalty and must adhere to Clean Air Act rules when it comes to the removal of exhaust-busting catalytic converters and refrain from adding aftermarket exhaust systems and aftermarket electronic “tuners” that add to tailpipe pollution.
“We’re pleased to have reached this resolution of our case with the dealerships.
They are to be commended for taking this turn in direction. It’s a win for everyone, and it’s a win for clean air,” said Kirtly Jones, UPHE board member.

WHAT’S HAPPENING WITH THE HARLEY BOARD–
Well, it’s been just six days since my last HDMC Board of Directors update to you, when I wondered how long it would take them to appoint new Board Members, if at all, but here’s the latest on two new Board appointees, The good news, however, is that Board Members Levinson and Linebarger (Zeitz’s groupies) have tended their resignations and are already gone.

TEXAS WEATHER REPORT–
Maybe I’m the only one no longer on social media? I am surprised at the number of parts sellers that have no contact information other than social media accounts. I’d been setting aside some money to get those LED running/signal lights from @dennispunt yet no way to contact him other than Instagram. My brother thinks I should get back on FB for marketplace and just not post anything. I’ve been off Facebook for years & Instagram 2-3, I just don’t see the value of it I guess? Would like to have a set of those LEDs but I guess that won’t happen either, life goes on.

Henry & I may be going to Born Free Texas again next month? He won’t be on his FXR though, coming close to dying sorta messed it up for him.
There are some things in the works for the RP, even if it’s not LED lights, after BF4.

THE EASYRIDERS MAGAZINE MISSION—
Like I mentioned above. We’ve carved notches in the wall until it crumbled. As Americans and Bikers our missions are clear. We need to save America, freedom, Harley-Davidson and Easyriders Magazine.
But there’s more and the mission doesn’t stop with us. America needs to step up and support hardworking Americans. Harley-Davidson needs to get it’s shit together for freedom and all the riders who believe in the brand.

And Easyriders Magazine’s mission is clear, be the voice of Freedom for Bikers all over the world. We can’t hide behind paper pages as the country falls apart or H-D crumbles. We need to have the balls to expose the bullshit going on in the country. We need to support freedom fighters all over the world. We must support the fossil fuel industry and let folks know the truth. We need to expose any folks set out to destroy the world.
Plus, there are motorcycles to fix, records to break, girls to know, stories to write and whiskey to drink…
We need a free world to party in…
