Harley-Davidson Riders Bauman and Janisch Win in AFT Action at Peoria TT
MILWAUKEE (August 18, 2025) – KWR Harley-Davidson rider James Rispoli captured the 2025 Mission Super Hooligan National Championship Presented By Roland Sands Designs and Powered by Harley-Davidson® after riding a race-prepared Harley-Davidson® Pan America® 1250 ST motorcycle to two race wins during a MotoAmerica double-header weekend at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. In the Mission King of the Baggers class, RevZilla/Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson rider Hayden Gillim rode a race-prepared Harley-Davidson® Road Glide® motorcycle to his first victory of the season and Harley-Davidson® x Dynojet Factory Race Team rider Kyle Wyman notched a pair of podium finishes. Wyman leads the series by 73 points with a maximum of 100 points left on the table for the rest of the season.race
In American Flat Track racing action on August 16, Rick Ware Racing/Parts Plus/Latus Motors rider Briar Bauman rode a Harley-Davidson® XG750R motorcycle to win at the 73rd Annual Peoria TT in Bartonville, Ill. Bauman’s seventh victory of the season extends his AFT Mission SuperTwins lead to 11 points with three races left on the schedule. Rispoli Wins Fourth in a Row to Claim Super Hooligan Title
Four consecutive race wins aboard a Harley-Davidson® Pan America® 1250 ST motorcycle earned KWR Harley-Davidson rider James Rispoli the 2025 Mission Super Hooligan National Championship Presented By Roland Sands Designs and Powered by Harley-Davidson®. After the first six races of the season Rispoli was in fifth place in the series and 55 points behind championship leader Saddlemen Race Development/Harley-Davidson rider Jake Lewis. Then Rispoli went on a hot streak, winning both rounds at Laguna Seca on July 12-13, races Lewis missed after being injured during qualifying. That moved Rispoli to third place in the standings, 22 points behind the new series leader and defending champion, Saddlemen Race Development/Harley-Davidson rider Cory West. Rispoli won the title by dominating the final double-header round, where he topped qualifying around the 15-turn 2.4-mile Mid-Ohio course with a lap of 1:29.575 and won both races.
“I’ve got to thank the KWR team. They put together a Harley Pan America package that’s so good,” said Rispoli, who completes the season with four race wins and three additional podium finishes. “Nobody was talking about me coming into the weekend, which actually helped me, and kept the pressure low. The championship was on Cory and Jake’s head. I knew this race was going to be tough, but man I’m stoked. I was screaming the whole cool down lap. We put so much work into this. Hats off to my team.”
The Saturday race was shortened from seven to five laps for a restart after two riders came together on the opening lap. Lewis led Yamaha rider Dominic Doyle and Rispoli off the start. Rispoli passed Doyle for second place on lap two and Lewis and Rispoli opened a 1.5-second gap over the field as they raced for the lead. Rispoli got past on lap 3 and held off Lewis on the closing laps to win by 1.090 seconds with Doyle third. Points leader West qualified fourth but was slowed by a recurring mechanical issue and dropped back to seventh place by the finish. After the Saturday race there was a spread of only six points between the championship contenders, Harley-Davidson riders West (148 points), Lewis (143 points), and Rispoli (142 points).
Rispoli led off the start in the Sunday season finale of the Super Hooligan series, with West and Lewis giving chase. Lewis and West passed each other twice battling for second right behind Rispoli on laps 3-4-5. On lap 6 West dropped out of the race with a mechanical issue. Lewis set Rispoli up for a pass to take the lead on the final lap but ran wide in the turn and lost ground while recovering. Rispoli crossed the finish line with a 0.758 second lead and the championship. Doyle finished third.
Rispoli won the 10-round 2025 Mission Super Hooligan National Championship Presented By Roland Sands Designs and Powered by Harley-Davidson® with 167 points. Lewis finished second with 163 points, followed by West with 132 points, as Harley-Davidson® Pan America® ST riders swept the series.

Gillim Takes King of the Baggers Victory
Gillim and his Vance & Hines race-prepared Harley-Davidson® Road Glide® motorcycle paced the Mission King of the Baggers field through both qualifying sessions, taking pole position for the weekend with a best lap of 1:28.019. Gillim then won the three-lap King of the Baggers Challenge bonus race, besting Factory Indian rider Troy Herfoss by 0.469 seconds.
Harley-Davidson® x Dynojet Factory Race Team rider Bradley Smith was injured in an off-track incident during the first qualifying session, and he retired for the weekend. His place on the Harley-Davidson® x Dynojet Factory Race Team Road Glide motorcycle was taken by Saddlemen Race Development rider Travis Wyman.
Gillim led all nine laps of the Saturday King of the Baggers race, passing Herfoss off the start and then opening a gap that stretched to 0.929 seconds by lap three over Herfoss, Harley-Davidson® x Dynojet Factory Race Team rider James Rispoli, Indian rider Cam Petersen and Kyle Wyman. Wyman passed Rispoli for third place on lap six as Gillim saw his lead over Herfoss begin to shrink. By lap 8 Herfoss was on Gillim’s rear tire, but Gillim showed tremendous pace through The Keyhole (turn 2) that Herfoss could not match, which proved the difference in the final laps. Gillim crossed the finish line 0.173 seconds clear of Herfoss, with Wyman 4.398 seconds back in third place. Rispoli finished fourth.
“It’s been a long year. This is my first podium of the season,” said Gillim, the 2023 Mission King of the Baggers champion. “After last year being pretty competitive, we’ve struggled at times, but we are finding our footing again. This one I wasn’t going to give up very easily.”
On Sunday Herfoss got a great start but was passed by Gillim before the end of the first lap. A poor start put Wyman in sixth place on the opening lap, which also saw Harley-Davidson® x Dynojet Factory Race Team rider Travis Wyman and RevZilla/Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson rider Rocco Landers retired from the race after colliding and running off the course. Gillim and Herfoss opened a five-second gap on the field. Herfoss passed for the lead on lap five as Wyman fought through traffic and worked his way to third place. On the final lap Gillim passed Herfoss in turn two to re-take the lead but gave the lead back in turn six when his speed carried him off the track. Wyman moved up to second place as Herfoss went on to win by 0.581 seconds. Factory Indian rider Tyler O’Hara finished third. Gillim was able to re-join the race and finished sixth.
After 10 of 14 rounds in the 2025 MotoAmerica Mission King of the Baggers series, Kyle Wyman leads in series points with 222, followed by Herfoss with 149 points, Factory Indian rider Loris Baz with 129 points, O’Hara with 110 points, Gillim with 93 points, and Rispoli with 87 points.

Bauman Takes Key Win at Peoria TT to Extend SuperTwins Lead
Rick Ware Racing/Parts Plus/Latus Motors rider Briar Bauman rode a Harley-Davidson® XG750R motorcycle to win the 73rd Annual Peoria TT, a crucial victory in his charge to the 2025 Progressive American Flat Track Mission SuperTwins championship. Bauman topped qualifying, won his heat race and the #2Fast2Tasty Challenge bonus race and started the main event on the front row next to his championship rival, Yamaha rider Dallas Daniels, who also won a heat race. At the start Royal Enfield rider Max Whale led the field into the first turn with Daniels second and Bauman third. On the second lap Bauman took the lead, diving under Daniels and then soaring past Whale over the jump as they powered down the subsequent straight. Daniels got past Whale but could not match the pace put down by Bauman, who opened a lead that stretched to two seconds mid-race. Bauman won by 1.204 seconds over Daniels and extended his lead over the Yamaha rider to 11 points with three races left on the schedule.
“I felt really good all day,” said Bauman. “Once again, huge thanks to Dave (Zanotti) and Michelle (Disalvo). They worked their tails off. I’ve been tough on them. We have a high standard because Dallas and his team are so darn good. We didn’t really think we’d be here at this stage, so now all the sudden, I’m like, ‘We’ve got to figure this out.’”
After 13 of 16 rounds in the 2025 AFT Mission SuperTwins championship, Bauman leads with 266 points, followed by Daniels with 255 points. Mission/Roof Systems/Harley-Davidson rider Brandon Robinson is third with 176 points.
The AFT Mission SuperTwins series returns to action August 30-31 for a double-header on the Springfield Mile at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield, Ill.
Janisch Wins AdventureTrackers Final at Peoria
WFOracingonline.com rider Jesse Janisch rode a Harley-Davidson® Pan America® 1250 Special to victory in the final round of the four-race 2025 AFT AdventureTrackers™ series, a professional racing class for large displacement, street-stock adventure touring motorcycles. Janisch topped qualifying, won his heat race and led every lap of the main event after a fierce battle with Saddlemen Race Development/Harley-Davidson rider Danny Eslick, who ran off the course attempting a last-corner pass for the win. That let Suzuki rider Dan Bromley through for a second-place finish. Eslick finished third.
“It was a lot of fun,” said Janisch after the Peoria win. “The track was a little bit nervous after the track prep. I was trying to ride really cautiously, and then I got way too cautious with two to go. Danny decided to send her, but luckily I heard him and saw it coming. I was able to square him up and get the win.”
Bromley won the AdventureTracker championship with 84 points. Janisch was second with 74 points, followed by Eslick with 61 points. Harley-Davidson won the AdventureTrackers™ Manufacturer’s Title with 84 points.
