Ready to Roll...

Hey,

We are packing to hit the road to Bonneville tomorrow morning. As always, it’s a test of nerves, resilience and check lists.

Life is nuts. In addition to going to Bonneville with the Salt Torpedo, I’m working on the news article for Cycle Source Magazine. There’s that 45 Flathead in Departure Bike Works waiting for testing and taking it to Bonneville next year. Amy is after me to write a story about Bandit’s Emporium in downtown Sturgis. Bikernet is right on the verge of being transferred to the new WordPress platform with the help of Lisa Jorgenson. I’m in the middle of a ’69 Panhead tune-up and I need to send my screenplay Splintered road to Randy Hayward. There’s also an effort to have Bandit’s Cantina turned into a TV series. WTF over?

Oh, but there’s more. Let’s go to Bonneville first after we hit the news:

The Bikernet Weekly News is sponsored in part by companies who also dig Freedom including: Cycle Source Magazine, the MRF, Iron Trader News, ChopperTown, BorntoRide.com and the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum.

The News was provided by the Bikernet Team including the Redhead, Bob T. Sam Burns, Laura, Barry Green, El Waggs, J.J. Solari, Amy White, Jenn and the rest of the crew.

HISTORY LESSON FROM COMPETITION DISTRIBUTING-- December 30, 1912 Lee Humiston and his Excelsior made a historic feat. For the first time ever a man and his machine had reached the “Ton” and topped 100 miles per hour on a closed track. He was now the fastest man on the planet!

MONTANA’S ONE-MAN WAR AGAINST THE CLIMATE HOAX--Donald Trump made his position clear,

“By slashing energy costs, we will reduce the cost of transportation, manufacturing, and household goods. We have to produce massive amounts of energy.”

To prevail, America must invest more in coal, gas, oil, and nuclear energy. Green energy will not satisfy the coming electrical demand because we need low-cost reliable energy 24 x 365. But this requirement conflicts with the climate myth that claims we must limit our use of carbon fuels “to save the planet.”

The climate truth is human CO2 has trivial effect on the CO2 level, natural CO2 is already above 400 ppm, temperature changes precede CO2 changes, CO2 has no effect on global temperature, albedo controls temperature, and human CO2 does not change the climate.

The Republican problem is 20% of Republican-leaning voters believe the climate myth because Republican leaders will not tell them the climate truth.

One reason Trump lost his presidential bid in 2020 was he did not defend his climate position in his critical climate debate against Biden. Trump thereby lost the 20% of Republican voters who so believe the climate myth that they will vote Democrat “to save the planet.” Trump could have changed their minds about climate and won their vote.

Trump and Republican Congressional candidates face a repeat of 2020 unless they tell the voters the climate truth.

Attorney General Austin Knudsen PURPOSELY lost the Held v Montana climate lawsuit. On June 12, 2023, at the beginning of the trial, Knudsen’s assistant AG stipulated,

“for the purposes of trial, there is a scientific consensus that earth is warming as a direct result of human GHG emissions, primarily from the burning of fossil fuels.”

After three years of preparation to defend Held v Montana, AG Knudsen threw away his pretenses of being a conservative. He never challenged a plaintiff expert witness and presented no expert witnesses to defend Held v Montana. Knudsen sabotaged Republicans.

Judge Seeley correctly ruled for the Plaintiffs based on the evidence in the trial because Knudsen presented no evidence. An ethical Democrat AG would have put up a better defense.

Senator Daines and his clone wannabe Senator Sheehy quickly claimed on “X” that the judge was wrong because she is a liberal. Daines and Sheehy inserted politics and lies into the trial that is based on logic and evidence. They are the liberals.

In April 2022, I learned about Held v Montana when Knudsen’s team invited a potential climate expert witness who recommended me instead, with an email copy to me.

When I contacted Knudsen’s Held v Montana private contractor, she made it clear that Montana Republicans had blacklisted and censored me from helping Montana. Montana could pay other experts for their work but not me.

Nevertheless, I gave them my extensive rebuttal of the lawsuit, an outline of how to defeat Held v Montana, including the questions to ask their experts, and recommended twelve expert witnesses. An assistant AG liked my suggestions and began to sign me up on June 1, 2022.

On Friday, June 3, at the Kalispell Pachyderm meeting, I mentioned to one person, whom I thought was my friend, that I was helping Knudsen defeat Held v Montana. He became visibly angry. Within an hour after the meeting, Knudsen had cut off all my communications with his assistant AG.

“They are not after me. They are after you. I’m just in their way.”

Defeating Held v Montana is about more than climate truth. It’s about stopping the unethical, immoral, fear-led indoctrination of America’s children in climate fiction. It is damaging their brains and their lives and America.

The Held v Montana child plaintiffs have not suffered any damage from human CO2. They have suffered mental damage from climate indoctrination by their parents and teachers.

Montana could have easily defeated Held v Montana, saved the children, and changed the world. But a Republican-led conspiracy PURPOSELY lost Held v Montana.

To help Montana candidates do their job, I invite them to a one-hour review of climate change science.

RED CROSS REACHES OUT--
We face an emergency blood shortage after a shortfall of 19,000 donations in July. We've had to limit distributions of some of the most transfused blood types to hospitals. Patients really need you now.

This is truly urgent. Blood products are being distributed faster than blood donations are coming in. I know many of us are very busy, but I encourage all healthy blood donors to schedule an appointment to give as soon as possible.

We say it often, but this extraordinary statement is true: just one blood donation may help save more than one life. Will you give just about an hour of your time to potentially give many more years to those in need?

Schedule Now

BANDIT’S CANTINA BAD JOKE LIBRARY-- Butch, The Rooster.

Sarah was in the fertilized egg business. She had several hundred young pullets and ten roosters to fertilize the eggs.

She kept records and any rooster not performing went into the soup pot and was replaced.

This took a lot of time, so she bought some tiny bells and attached them to her roosters.

Each bell had a different tone, so she could tell from a distance which rooster was performing.

Now, she could sit on the porch and fill out an efficiency report by just listening to the bells.

Sarah's favorite rooster, old Butch, was a very fine specimen but, this morning she noticed old Butch's bell hadn't rung at all!

When she went to investigate, she saw the other roosters were busy chasing pullets, bells-a-ringing, but the pullets hearing the roosters coming, would run for cover.

To Sarah's amazement, old Butch had his bell in his beak, so it couldn't ring.

He'd sneak up on a pullet, do his job, and walk on to the next one.

Sarah was so proud of old Butch, she entered him in a Show and he became an overnight sensation among the judges.

The result was the judges not only awarded old Butch the "No Bell Peace Prize" they also awarded him the "Pulletsurprise" as well.

Clearly old Butch was a politician in the making.

Who else but a politician could figure out how to win two of the most coveted awards on our planet by being the best at sneaking up on the unsuspecting populace and screwing them when they weren't paying attention?

INDIAN MOTORCYCLE CELEBRATES-- the End of an Era of Flat Track Racing Dominance,

As New AFT Rules Call for Production-Only Engines, Rendering the FTR750 Ineligible

Indian Motorcycle’s Championship-Winning Race Bike Leaves Behind Unprecedented Legacy, Securing Seven SuperTwins Titles & More than 100 Race Wins in 135 races

In 2016, Indian Motorcycle introduced the FTR750, a flat track race machine designed to propel the brand back into professional racing following a 60-year hiatus. Amid its eighth season of competition, the Indian FTR750 has established itself as the most dominant race bike in the sport’s history.

“Since 1901, racing has been core to the Indian Motorcycle brand DNA,” said Gary Gray, Vice President Racing and Service for Indian Motorcycle. “From our founders, Hendee and Hedstrom, competing in endurance races in the early 1900s, to the dominant Wrecking Crew of the late 1940s, Indian Motorcycle has been winning races. The FTR750 was the vehicle that reestablished Indian Motorcycle Racing and returned the brand to a place of competitive dominance.”

Since its debut, the FTR750 has not only revived the storied tradition of the original Indian Wrecking Crew, but it revolutionized the landscape of flat track racing – quickly earning a reputation as the most dominant machine in the AFT paddock. With three races remaining in the 2024 season, the FTR750 has a 75%-win ratio, winning 101 of the 135 races. It has secured 286 total podiums at 129 races, earning a 96%-podium ratio. The FTR750 has a perfect championship record, winning all premier class titles since 2017.

“I’ve been fortunate enough to be on this journey with Indian Motorcycle since day one,” said Reigning AFT SuperTwins Champion Jared Mees. “Racing the FTR750 has been an incredible experience, as I’ve never experienced a bike like the FTR750 in all my years competing. We’ve had immense success over the past eight years, and it’s been a true honor to be a part of the Indian Wrecking Crew.”

Mees has been an instrumental piece to the FTR750’s success. In addition to being Indian Motorcycle’s hero factory rider since 2017, Mees played an invaluable role in developing the FTR750 – providing expert-level feedback and insights to Indian Motorcycle engineers and S&S Cycle, who developed the FTR750’s chassis. Piloting the FTR750, Mees has secured five championship titles. With a six-point lead in the SuperTwins standings, and three races remaining, Mees looks to complete the FTR750’s perfect record and secure a new all-time record of 10-career championships.

In addition to its factory efforts, Indian Motorcycle has been a great supporter of privateer teams, paying out more than $4,000,000 in privateer contingency.

Since 2017, 45 riders have competed aboard the Indian FTR750. The complete roster of legendary riders includes the following:

WORD FROM THE BIKERNET THOUGHT TEMPLE--

“The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be.”
--Ralph Waldo Emerson

At the center of our being lies a Source that is Perfect, Whole, and Complete. It is the answer to every challenge, the healing for every disease, and the abundance that this earth offers. This self presence can guide us to any place we wish to go.

Yet, many of us have constructed an inner wall that separates us from this Perfection. This wall, built from blocks of negative thoughts and cemented with the mortar of fear and unbelief—mixed with past negative experiences—prevents us from realizing our greater good.

Now is the time to completely dismantle this wall with right thinking. Just as the sun never ceases to shine, our Infinite Potential is always within us, though it may be clouded by this wall. It is time to discover our true selves and live a life of total fulfillment.

Today's Affirmation:

I have the power to overcome all apparent negativities. I release all beliefs in lack, limitation, fear, doubt, guilt, and negativity from my Consciousness. I am liberated from these shackles that have held me back from expressing my Perfect Life.

Today, I elevate my Consciousness to one of being Perfect, Whole, and Complete. I am self-guided, guarded, and supplied from within, and everything in my life unfolds in right and perfect order. I place my trust in the Power, Presence, and Perfection of the Spirit within me.

I am deeply grateful to know this Truth—My Truth.

And So It Is.
Namaste.

RUMBLEON EXPANDS FOOTPRINT-- with Acquisition of Harley-Davidson Dealership in Massachusetts

RumbleOn, Inc. the nation’s largest retailer of powersports vehicles, announced today the acquisition of a Harley-Davidson dealership in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts. The newly acquired dealership, now named Revolution Road Harley-Davidson, opened its doors Friday under its new ownership.

Joseph Cacicio, a New England native with extensive experience in the powersports industry, has been appointed as the General Manager of Revolution Road Harley-Davidson. Cacicio expressed his enthusiasm for the role, “I am honored to take the helm at Revolution Road Harley-Davidson. Our team is committed to serving the dealership's loyal customers and adding exciting new initiatives that support the Harley-Davidson brand.”

The dealership, previously known as Monty's Harley-Davidson, had been owned by Kathleen Monaghan, a long-time member of the area's powersports community.

Revolution Road Harley-Davidson will become a premier destination for Harley-Davidson enthusiasts in New England. Located mid-way between Boston and Providence RI, the location provides easy access for numerous current and future Harley owners.

This purchase marks RumbleOn’s 56th dealership, a significant milestone as the first acquisition under CEO Mike Kennedy. Kennedy commented on the strategic importance of acquisitions, saying, “Dealership acquisitions are a crucial element in achieving RumbleOn’s Vision 2026 strategic plan. Revolution Road Harley-Davidson is a perfect addition to our growing portfolio of dealerships.”

Along with this acquisition, RumbleOn has recently expanded its presence with two additional dealership locations.

Earlier this summer, RumbleOn opened Indian Motorcycle of Cincinnati, a market which had not been served by an Indian dealership. "Our close partnerships with all of our OEM's, in this case Polaris, made Indian Motorcycle of Cincinnati a reality," continued Kennedy.

RumbleOn also recently opened RideNow Powersports Houston, a dealership pilot project focused on selling pre-owned vehicles exclusively. This innovative dealership offers a range of pre-owned powersports products, with an emphasis on custom and touring motorcycles. The location near Interstate 45 north of Houston also carries a comprehensive selection of accessories and riding gear.

"Our strategic plan calls for us to carefully manage our capital and to run the best performing dealerships in the country," said Kennedy. "The three new dealerships we opened this summer, each one quite different, are great examples of how we will grow and achieve our Vision 2026 goals and continue to focus our capital allocation on generating long-term per-share value for our shareholders."

How did this socialist ass hole get in charge of Harley Davidson? I blame the '60s, when I came home in '67 or I thought was the home when I left in '65. My country had disappeared, there were a bunch of hippy draft dodgers in control. Now they are government. They should have round them up and air dropped them in Vietnam as cannon fodder along with honie jane. Enough my attitude is bad enough already.

Good luck on the salt.
