Biker Bars Near Me: Utah’s Best

When you find yourself cruising through Utah and need a place to rest and have a cold beer, finding one can be pretty tough. As a pretty dry state, Utah’s liquor laws aren’t much like what we bikers are used to. Nonetheless, you can still find some badass places—you just need to know where to go. Luckily for you, and some areas in Utah, Bikernet can help you find the best spots to hit.

Whether you’re passing through the mountain canyons of Utah’s north or you’re cruising down south, there’s a few good places for bikers where they can cool off, have a drink, and chill out with fellow enthusiasts of the open road. Check out the bars listed below for Utah’s best spots.

If your trip doesn’t end in Utah, check out a full list of biker bars around the country at Bikernet.

Utah’s Best Biker Bars

As you seek out and check the bars listed below, there’s a few things to keep in mind. Like we said, Utah’s got some interesting liquor laws. If you find yourself in a bar/restaurant, you may be forced to order food with your drinks, and last call’s always at 1am. Other than that, Utah’s a great place to ride through and meet other bikers. Check out the best places to hit below.

Cruzrs Saloon

3943 S Highland Dr, Salt Lake City, UT 84124

Cruzrs Saloon is a great biker friendly bar, owned and operated by a biker (Big Jim). You gotta stop in and see the great HDs on display in the bar. Great food and drinks, great people and great times. It doesn’t get much better than that. Plus, they have live music with Utah’s best bands four nights a week. They’ve got a big outside patio located right next to the bike parking. And you can usually hit the taco stand outside for dollar tacos. In short, Cruzrs has a cool atmosphere, cold brews, and some good food.

Get there: Exit on 1300 East from the I-80 and head south. When you hit 3900 South, head to Highland Drive and go south again for a few feet. Or ask any bike shop.

Barons Motorcycle Club

857 Edison St E, Salt Lake City, UT 84111

Another one of Salt Lake City’s finest, Barons Motorcycle Club isn’t for the faint of heart. A place for real bikers, Barons isn’t just a bar, it’s a club. Things can get rowdy at the bar, but it’s nothing a biker isn’t used to. Stop in, have a cold brew, and share some good times with the fellas. Simple as that.

Get there: From State Street, head east on 800 South and take a right onto Edison. If you’re heading west, make a left on Edison before hitting State.

Gateway Saloon

733 E Main St, Vernal, UT 84078

As you get away from the city, Gateway Saloon in Vernal is a good place to stop, but it may also be the only. Nonetheless, they’ve a nice outdoor area with horseshoes, a pool table inside, and a full bar of course. They’ll also have live music some nights. It’s an old school place, call it a dive, but it’s perfect for stopping in on a long ride and cooling off for a bit with a cold one. According to the reviews, a fight may even break out. But for the most part, it’s a relaxing place for a drink.

Kelly’s Roadhouse

1550 W Old Hwy Rd, Morgan, UT 84050

Right in the heart of the canyon, Kelly’s is a killer place for bikers. The location alone is the perfect place for a roadhouse type establishment. While it’s a good place for drinks, the food is awesome here. Big burgers, beer battered fries, BBQ pork ribs—they’ve really got it all. Plus, the entire place is focused around bikers, and that’s most of the patrons here. Roll up, park your bike next to countless others, and head inside for some good times with fellow rider.

Get there: Exit I-84 at Morgan, UT, head north to the first 4 way intersection (about 1/2 block) and head west for about 2 miles. Kelly's is on the right.
