Biker Bars Near Me: Georgia

Whether you’re cruising up north and dippin’ into Canada or taking the open roads of America’s Southwest, chances are you’ll want to find a few places to stop off along the way. It doesn’t matter if you want some good food, a cold beer, or a simple rest, the place you decide to stop always matters. It needs a good menu, a mellow atmosphere, and most importantly, a good crowd of fellow bikers.

When you find yourself down south in Georgia, it’ll help to know a few good spots you can kick your feet up at and enjoy a cold brew. While the state is home to a list of killer spots, we’ve listed the very best for bikers below. If you want to find more across the US, you can check out our full list of biker hangouts.

Georgia’s Best Biker Bars & Hangouts

From good grub to ice cold beers, and maybe some pool tables and live music, the bars and hangouts below are truly some of Georgia’s finest. And if you’re a biker looking for a good time, they’ll surely give it to you. Check out some of our favorite pit stops in Georgia.

Motorheads Bar & Grill

650 Macon St, McDonough, GA 30253

The name says it. Biker owned with a great atmosphere, Motorheads is a great spot. They’ve got TVs for sports, poker and pool tournaments on Mondays, karaoke, trivia night, and live music regularly. They also hold plenty of biker events and rallies, so be sure to check their calendar if you’re heading that way. Did we mention the food is pretty good too? Swing on by and grab a tasty burger to enjoy with your beer.

Hud’s Bar & Grill

2213 Gray Hwy, Macon, GA 31211

Hud’s is a pretty big place, and they have big TV screens throughout for NASCAR and sports. You can come in and play Texas Hold ‘Em on Tuesdays, with free pool Wednesday’s. On Thursdays, a range of musicians come in for some live music, but they also have it on Friday’s and Saturdays. Then you’ve got the food. Their in-house, smoked BBQ stew is like no other, and the Hud burgers are killer. All around, it’s a good joint for bikers and they’ve always got something going on. Check it out if you’re ever in the area.

Get there: Take I-75 to Macon and get on I-16 towards Savanna. Get off on the first I-16 Exit at Spring Street and turn left. Take Gray Hwy about 3-4 miles and HUD's is on the right-hand side, 1.5 miles past the Wal-Mart.

Ralph's Five Pines Saloon

2301 Gordon Hwy, Augusta, GA 30909

Five Pines is a big place, and it’s about the only old biker bar around. It's been here for decades, too. Besides being a bar they sell some leathers, T-shirts, stickers, etc. As for the bar, though, it’s a good watering hole. You can relax and play some pool, and the bartenders are all awesome. Some even say they have the cheapest and strongest drinks around—which may just be worth checking out.

Get there: From I 520 (Bobby Jones Expressway), go west on Gordon Hwy (US 78 & 278) toward Fort Gordon. Go through 2 traffic lights and the bar is on the right about 200 yards. From Gordon Hwy (US 78 & 278), going east, it is about 2 miles past Fort Gordon gate #1. You have to go past the bar and make a U-turn at the next light (Milledgeville Road).

L&H Saloon

3642 Victory Dr, Columbus, GA 31903

Both owned and operated, L&H Saloon is a badass place. Throughout the week, they’ll have dart tournaments, poker games, and a jukebox blasting good tunes. All in all, it’s a good spot to come in and relax over a cold drink, surrounded by fellow bikers and friendly locals.
