Bikernet is proud to have the best V-twin, transmission parts manufacturer in the world as a sponsor. We look forward to bringing you technical info on their line of products and how you can use them on your bikes. Here's a few words from Baker:

At BAKER Drivetrain, we specialize in drivetrain products for the American motorcycle aftermarket. We live and breathe this stuff and we are damn good at it. When you talk to someone in sales or consult us on technical issues, you will talk to someone with gear lube running through their veins. Most of us work 6 and 7 days a week. But we don't call it work around here; we call it fun!

If you contact us during normal business hours, you will talk to a knowledgeable, enthusiastic person and not a voice mail message promising a return call within 72 hours.

All BAKER Drivetrain components are made in America. We are proud of this fact. We believe that American motorcycles should have American drivetrain components; anything else is sacrilege.

BAKER Drivetrain maintains a very close relationship with Andrews Products; they manufacture gears and shafts to BAKER design specifications.

We have no relationship with JIMS. JIMS manufactures a 6-speed based on an early BAKER design under a licensing agreement that was initiated in 1999, but terminated in 2002.

We have no relationship with any of the Asia knock-off artist that copy our products and pollute our great country with inferior gears and shafts made from steel alloys that would be more appropriate for the manufacture of soup cans.

BAKER Drivetrain and BAKER Inc. are not associated with the Harley-Davidson Motor Company.

BAKER Drivetrain, BAKER Six-Speed Overdrive, and BAKER are registered trademarks of BAKER Inc., Haslett Michigan.
