Biker Bars Near Me: Texas

Whether you’re on a cross-country ride or remaining around the American southwest, Texas has long been a killer spot for motorcycle rides. In other words, if you’re planning a trip soon, you may want to add a few roads in Texas to your list. Along the way, you’ll find a great deal of badass bars and hangouts to hit too.

“Everything’s bigger in Texas” aside, the state does have some pretty good places to stop, and given its central location and being a hotspot for bikers, it’s always a great place for meetups and events. Regardless, you’ll at least have a spot to chill out and enjoy a cold one. For the best in Texas biker bars though, take a look at the top selections from Bikernet. For more bars & hangouts, check out a complete list of biker spots by state here.

Texas’ Best Biker Bars & Hangouts

With how big Texas is, you can bet there’s a ton of bars and spots for bikers to hang out at. But to help you skip the bad ones, we’ve picked out some of our favorites across the Lone Star State. Check out Bikernet’s top choices below:

Loose Wheels Texas

4716 Pool Rd, Denison, TX 75020

Loose Wheels has it all: great food, cold beer, and awesome music playing all weekend. With old bikes hanging inside, this place is definitely a killer place for bikers. While families can come before 7pm, it’s really not a family place, and that’s alright with us. With live music regularly, dance nights, and special drink nights, this is a good spot to pull off for a cold drink. Did we mention the tasty ribs?

Hawg Stop

11335 Sheldon Rd, Houston, TX 77044

The name says it all. Hawg Stop was made for bikers, and it’s an awesome place to stop after a day on the road. Known as one of the best biker bars in Houston, Hawg Stop offers live music and crawfish every Thursday and Sunday, with charity events regularly. Moreover, the food is great and the beer is cold. Overall, it’s a great atmosphere here, and you’ll find yourself surrounded by fellow bikers. If you ever pass through Houston, definitely drop by Hawg Stop for some good times.

Strokers Ice House

9324 Harry Hines Blvd, Dallas, TX 75235

Strokers is a pretty interesting place. Next door to the “Icehouse”, they’ve got a shop full of new and used bikes for sale, some pretty badass ones too. The Icehouse is the place to be for bikers though. Claimed to be “the most infamous biker destination in the world”, Strokers Ice House certainly is different. Of course, the food and drinks are good, and the same goes for the parties they’ve got going on regularly. Check out Strokers anytime you’re in Dallas for some good food, good times, great drinks, and even some free pool on Mondays.

Get there: Located on Harry Hines about a mile north of Regal Row off I-35 in Dallas, TX.

Gilligan’s

1425 TX-276, Quinlan, TX 75474

Gilligan’s is the best bar in East Tawakoni! Everyone is welcome, whether you ride a Harley or a GoldWing! All in all though, it’s a great place to hang out and enjoy a good drink. They’ve got pool and shuffleboard to kill time, an outside area, and the lake is just a mile away. In short, Gilligan’s is an authentic, watering-hole type place.

Get there: It’s about 60 miles east of Dallas. Depending on where you’re heading from, it’s about 9 miles east of Quinlan on highway 276. If you take highway 34, it’s about 15 miles south of Greenville.
