Hey,

I’m watching a series of lecturers on inventions and it’s amazing.
One of the first inventions was pottery, which led to the pottery wheel and to motorcycle wheels.

Of course, one of the next major inventions was beer and wine. Had to have something to pour into the pottery. But there’s a fascinating one still not addressed in our society today. We can now document the history of the universe, but our sewer systems, which are still not available to 1/3 of the earth’s population (which means contamination and disease), is still not as good as the one established by the romans.

So, what the fuck? They can regulate the hell out of us, when they should take a serious look at our wasteful sewer system and figure out a way for using something other than valuable fresh water to flush toilets. Amazing.

Very creative exhaust system on the Pan.

Somewhere in Texas

I wanted to use as many stock parts as possible including the pinch tube, but I’m a fan of shotgun pipes. Then Rick, from US Choppers, turned me onto that shorty muffler—too cool. I was on a mission.

JACK SIMMONS R.I.P.

I am sad to say that Jack Simmons passed away on October 23rd in Spokane, Washington. He had been suffering with Multiple Myeloma for some time and a fall put him in the hospital.

Jack was Bill Getty’s dear friend and mentor. He taught Bill to ride a motorcycle. Anyone who knew Jack was aware of his deep faith in Christ. Bill will miss being able to call him for advice or to reflect on the many trail rides they did together, but Bill knows he is out of pain and with the Lord.

In some of the many emails Jack was remembered as a “tuff competitor”, “threat at Ascot and on the SoCal scrambles tracks” and a feisty but good guy. His wife, Ethel, has had dementia for a few years and will be moving in with their daughter, Sherry and husband Jim.

Their son Jack and his wife, plus Sherry and Jim, were with Jack. There are lots of good memories of Jack. I will also miss his calls. God Speed Jack.

DEEP NOTIONS FROM EL WAGGS--

I read that 4,153,237 people got married last year. Not to cause any trouble, but shouldn't that be an even number?

- I find it ironic that the colors red, white, and blue stand for freedom until they are flashing behind you.

- When wearing a bikini, women reveal 90% of their body. Men are so polite they only look at the covered parts.

- Relationships are a lot like algebra. Have you ever looked at your X and wondered Y?

- America is a country, which produces citizens who will cross the ocean to fight for democracy but won't cross the street to vote.

- You know that tingly little feeling you get when you love someone? That's your common sense leaving your body.

- My therapist says I have a preoccupation with vengeance. We'll see about that.

- I think my neighbor is stalking me as she's been Googling my name on her computer. I saw it through my telescope last night.

- Money talks ... but all mine ever says is good-bye.

- You're not fat, you're just easier to see.

- If you think nobody cares whether you're alive, try missing a couple of payments.

- I always wondered what the job application is like at Hooters. Do they just give you a bra and say, "Here, fill this out?"

- I can’t understand why women are OK that JC Penny has an older women’s clothing line named, "Sag Harbor."

- Denny’s has a slogan, "If it’s your birthday, the meal is on us." If you’re in Denny’s and it’s your birthday, your life sucks!

- The location of your mailbox shows you how far away from your house you can go in a robe before you start looking like a mental patient.

- I think it's pretty cool how Chinese people made a language entirely out of tattoos.

- Money can’t buy happiness, but it keeps the kids in touch!

- The reason Mayberry was so peaceful and quiet was because nobody was married. Andy, Aunt Bea, Barney, Floyd, Howard, Goober, Gomer, Sam, Earnest T Bass, Helen, Thelma Lou, Clara and, of course, Opie were all single. The only married person was Otis, and he stayed drunk.

You know, in my humble opinion...the Shovel on your cover shot is really clean...but, that pipe wrap rats it out. However, the young lady is very well equipped. Opinions and assholes I guess....but the girl...no argument.

My Electraglide Standard did not come with a radio. I installed a fairing compartment in place of the radio p/n 58313-96. Made of something like Cordura it has a heavy zipper with a Velcro secured outer flap. It has served me well for many years. I don't know if it is still available. I can't remember which company but one of the bagger accessory aftermarket groups had a similar version in a hard case with a locking hinged door.
