As you will see, this poster was sent to us to see if a father & mother could help their son make a little money from his art.
Here's their story and a not so great picture of the poster, but we'll let you decide whether or not you like it. I love it and my check will be in the mail tomorrow. Layla
It's a poster of an original painting my son did of my wife's and my bikes. My wife's trying to promote Aaron's (my son) painting's. aaron went through art school but is having a hard time making ends meet. We made prints out of this painting to sell so he can make a few buck's as we help him through school. I think Bandit has one of the best sites on the web so I was hoping if we sent him one free, and he liked it, he would show it on the sight with info on where others could get them. I've been into scooters for over 30 years. In fact when I was 17, I hitchhiked out to Los Angeles, Cal. to stay with my uncle who was the main bike painter for "Big House" Choppers located in Inglewood, CA., a suburb of LA., back in 1971-3? Anyway that's when I got interested in bikes. My bike is a massaged 1947 - 74 knuckle and my wife's is a 80 shovel that I built to look like a 1937 knuckle, but with stretched tank a 93 " engine. It has alot of other mods. I did all the work on them and they are ridden steady, (weather permitting). That's the dope - Bruce If anyone is interested, which I think it be worth the investment, if you like biker-related art, send a check or money order to: Aaron Hauck
Numbered Water-color prints 1-150, signed - $100
Please add $5 for shipping and handling in the U.S. My picture of the poster isn't that great, it is much better looking in person. ~Sin Back to Special Reports on Bikernet... |
