Here's a sneak preview of the paint. Okay, onto the rear fender. It's also our 14 gauge stamped seamless fender blank (both front and rear fenders are available on line, on our website, now). I like to weld and mold the rear fenders into the frame on every Lucky Devil project. Again, we did it on this one to make the frame and fender integral, solid and tough.

The edge is trimmed with 3/16-inch solid round bar welded and smoothed out before it sees the paint shop. It's a good look and makes the fender even stronger.

The chain guard is welded to the frame also. The plate mount is made to be removable. This finalizes the foundation for a super-clean hot rod chopper. Time to wrap some clothes on her and see how she goes.

Okay, back to the grind I go, please let me know if there is any more info I can add on the project.
