How many seat pans do you need? Shown in the photo are roughly 2000 seat pans waiting their turn for powdercoating and then assembly.
This machine mixes the special formula Marathon foam and injects into specially designed molds that fit around the seat pans defining the contours of the seat.
After the foam cures the seat is removed from the mold and any foam flash is trimmed off and then stacked waiting for the move into the next process of covering.
Here is a close up view of a seat with the Biker Gel insert (arrow), the gel insert is flush with the top of the foam.
