Building Monster Trikes For Over 15 Years
Don Center, a Vietnam vet, has created outrageous custom motorcycles for more than 30 years. These rolling works of art, have been featured in Rumble Magazine, Easy Rider, VQ, V-Twin and Hot Bike Magazine, just to mention a few. His latest creation is the Iron Horse Trike.
According to Keith R. Ball, otherwise known as the Bandit of Easyrider Fame, from Bikernet Headquarters in California, Don has been the leading manufacturer of extreme car-powered trikes. Keith has worked with Don featuring his bikes and business for over 15 years.
The trikes are now built in Lebanon, Ohio, a northern suburb of Cincinnati. These unique trikes have been featured on The Today Show, MTV Cribs, Monster Nation and The Discovery Channel. Most recently, one of Don's Iron Horse trikes was seen in the 2007 John Travolta movie, Road Hogs!
The trikes may look intimidating at first glance but they are remarkably easy to ride and maneuver! Contact Don on his mobile phone to discuss the many variations available for your Iron Horse Trike. The three current models include the Outlaw at 350 horsepower with a 700 R4 Transmission, the Shaker at 485 horsepower and the Overkill with a blown 640 horsepower engine and 400 Trans. Each trike comes with a Chevy small block engine, custom wheels, custom seats, ceramic headers, springer front forks, twin storage boxes your choice of colors and classic instruments.
Don's business partner, Mike Davis, comes from an entertainment background. He has brought some unique marketing opportunities to the company. Using his contacts in the field of entertainment, Mike has secured a showcase of these trikes at The Emmy's, The Hoody Awards (held in Las Vegas) and The American Music Awards. There is talk of featuring the trike on ABC's General Hospital, where one of Mike's friends, Steve Burton, has played Jason Morgan for more than 10 years.
One of Mike's other friends, Phil Pitzer, bought the rights to the remake of Easy Rider, the classic Peter Fonda movie. Although the movie is in post production, Pitzer is considering re-shooting a couple scenes to include Mike's Iron Horse trikes.
Iron Horse is now negotiating with several production companies to secure a new reality series called "The Third Wheel".
Mike is now developing dealership packages. If you'd like to become a dealer, contact him to discuss the details.
