ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- For its fourth annual Bike Night Party,
St. Pete's Biff Burger drive-in pulled out all the stops, offering
free eats, free music and a lot of fun to several thousand bikers.
Beautiful Florida spring weather guaranteed a good turnout for the fourth annual
Biff Burger Biker BBQ. Several thousand bikers paraded through and
around St. Pete's premier biker drive-in during the all-day, all-night
party.
Giving away food is a guaranteed draw, but the barbecued
pork served up at Biff Burger is some of the best anywhere. Nearly
2,000 free plates were handed out March 24 during the 12-hour noon
to midnight party and pig roast.
Local Florida Chapter 7 of U.S. Military Vets MC took advantage of
the situation to raise money by raffling off chances for a shiny new
Indian, Kendon Standup two-railer and crate-fresh RevTech 100-incher.
Live bands kept the joint rockin', along with a bike show, burn out
pit and loud pipes contest. The U.S. Military Vets MC sold
raffle tickets toward a trailer and bike combo and a complete
RevTech 100-incher.
With bucks saved from the free pig roast, raffle tickets toward a chance
on a new Indian, in-the-box RevTech 100-incher or Kendon
Standup seemed like a good investment.
In case you missed this anniversary, weekly Bike Nights offer plenty
of entertainment, including live music on Saturdays and DJs every
Wednesday.
With a classic car motif that goes back 16 years, bikes were a
natural for this Florida landmark. You might want to leave the tail
end of March free next year and get ready to party.
