Bike Night Rips Austin Texas

I finally made to my first bike night at Jack's Backyard. It's co-sponsored by Central Texas Harley-Davidson and kickstands sink into the soft asphalt of the parking lot every Summer Thursday. Unfortunately my job as a Double-Knot Spy kept me tied to plane tickets all summer. This weekly event has grown from 60 polished scooters to well over the 300+ mark recently.

It's a chance to unwind, meet folks you haven't seen in a long while and make some new pals. Hell, you can even drink booze in the parking lot while checking out the bikes and babes. Most events restrict drinking in parking areas.

While the Bike Night itself roams from 7-9, you are more then welcome to stay over after the end-of-the-night raffle and continue your evening. The raffle tickets are free to whoever wants one and the prizes are all donated by the local area businesses.

As the raffle ended folks began to depart for the night. Most picked up their mess and didn't burn-out into the street. I tweaked my throttle just a tad, honest. It might have been that last double Jack or the 151-proof Jell-O shot.

I hung out with old friends, met some new ones like the hard working Jell-O Shot Cuties (remembered the pen, forgot the note pad). Hell, they even bought me a shot at the night's end. I wondered if they sold shots or just had fun with them?

Check out the abs on the Miller Lite Cutie! She definitely don't drink the stuff.

Looking forward to next week's event. The weather in central Texas is finally cooling down--it's 97 degrees now. I forgot to ask how the food was, but judging by the packed tables, it couldn't be bad. Next week I'll shoot for a Jello-shot from her navel.
