Sunday February 3rd, 2002 kicked off with bright skies and moderately nice
riding weather after being taunted with a little rain the night before.
The doors opened to the public at 9:00am sharp as Nasty, a Bikernet
freelance representative ducked in to the event incognito in order to assure
a private moments with some of the most titillating two-wheeled machinery
that any self-respecting biker would love to drool over.
This event was supported in part by a large showing of clubs, and true
brotherhood stood tall and proud as not even one cross word was spoken.
As the Little Rock Expo Center began to fill with such raw beauty, mixed
with a tantalizing aroma of fuel and exhaust, the doors opened and there
came an onward rush of such a diverse crowd. All in show to get their
yearly motorcycle fix, much as a sick person needs medicine.
Leather & lace, and parts galore, both new and used. There was something
for all, including face painting for the kids. Music pumped loud tunes from
the 60's, 70's and 80's. When they announced that the event was being
covered by bikernet.com and that I would be photographing the winners and
their bikes, I was put in the spotlight.
Until the next event, this ol' boy is gonna take Jimmy Buffet's
advice....... I'm gonna get nekid and screw!
