Buell

Shock Killer
Posted: Februrary 1, 2001

This pic. is of a hurt Buell S2. The engine has just come out of the frame. This is because the owner did a "big time wheely" and came down hard!!!

No this is not the latest Buell shock recall! It is a good way to get the frame ready to take off the lift and be able to wheel it around the shop once the motor is out.

This is why the frame has nothing in it. When you come down to hard after a wheely at least on this Buell this is the result. The big hole in the case is the area where the rear shock mounting bracket bolts to.

You wanna play you gotta pay!!!!!!! All the body work is fucken history! It's a shame because the S2 Buell's are becoming a collectors item. In my opinion the best of the Buell/Harley models introduced in 1995. This guy is fortunate because he is a Buell mechanic at our shop and can fix it himself. The parts for these bikes are very expensive to say the least and getting to be pretty rare. I did a frame change for a guy a few months ago. He wrecked his 95 S2, blue like mine. It took forever it seemed to get a new frame frome Buell. So one might want to think real hard about doing the crazy shit on their Buell's. That is unless they real deep pockets full of CASH!!
