Late
nights and very little adult supervision often breed genius. In
this case, a hand fabricated stainless steel manifold exits
vertically to a 90 degree and then splits into mounts for a huge
Weber carb. At this angle, airflow would have been obstructed by
the chassis. Solution? Chop out sections of the down tubes and
replace them with a sort of integrated velocity stack. Healthy
welds and thick wall tubing help maintain the integrity of the
chassis. |
