Darren, along with his government job, is now a member of the Kustom Fab team, honing his skills with sheet metal fabrication. "My experience is limited to working with steel a minimum of 1/4-inch thick," Darren explained. Roger is a master with thin sheet metal, a machinist, a wiring expert and a mechanic, of which Darren has little experience. He's the shop intern.

"We wanted people to wonder whether or not the bike actually ran," Darren spoke of the design. "This basically meant that we had to hide everything possible. Our motto became 'less is more'. I also wanted to use spoke wheels. Personally, I think that spoke wheels are timeless.
