One of my personal favorite custom builders is Russ Tom, the owner of the leading franchised Harley dealership in Seattle. Over the years Tom has proven hiself to be a totally original designer creating exciting new concepts unlike anything that has come before them.

Each bike is designed to a particular concept from the ground, up with a degree of function and practically that makes you take a double take the bike looks so clean and practical that it could be an actual pre-production bike unveiled by a major manufactuer for an internation trade show.

I make it a point of featuring one of Russ' lastest creations in the Performance Machine and Mikuni sponsored Iron & Lace Calendar every year. It's a done deal without ever even having to preview the bike. One of Russ' latestest bikes we'll call the "Blue Hornet" because of it's color and agressive high speed sportbike styling.
