COMPATIBILITY · Roadrunners can be used as a pair, or intermixed with other front or rear premium tires (bias or cross-ply) for excellent all-around performance. However, never mix bias-ply tyres with belted (or radial) tyres.

TREAD COMPOUND · High adhesion rubber compounds are used in these tyres, sacrificing tread life in exchange for performance. If treadlife is a concern, consider Super Venom, Roadrunner, or Elan II. 

This high-performance, Kevlar-belted tyre is often the "ultra-custom" choice of the top designers who create the radical custom Harleys of the 90's. It will create the low profile look and deliver unparalleled performance. Avon cannot recommend this tyre because it does not fit on a standard motorcycle without modification. If the tyre is used, extensive testing for handling and tyre clearance should be conducted by a qualified service technician on the modified/customized motorcycle before riding it on the street. Never use a radial tire with the AM22 or AM23. Avon does not recommend the use of radial tyres for any Harley-Davidson applications.

COMPUTER DESIGNED TREAD · Avon's advanced design offers nearly the same tread depths as that found on other brands of H-rated touring tires. The design also reduces distortion and heat build up, keeping more rubber on the road for superior all-weather control. 

'CLING' RUBBER · Avon's acclaimed, long-lasting rubber compound delivers positive grip, precise control, high adhesion and extra bite in the corners. 

CUSTOM DESIGN · The 150/80 V16 is a favorite among custom designers, but requires extensive modifications to the motorcycle, and is therefore not recommended as a stock replacement tyre.
