September, 2006---Accurate Engineering's Outlaw 120’ made history during the Bonneville Salt Flats 2006 International Motorcycle Speed Trials. The "Salt Shaker," powered by Accurate's 120 cubic inch Panhead motor, was 5-Ball Racing's entry on the flats. Keith "Bandit" Ball ached to get back to Bonneville since his involvement in the Easyriders streamliner record run in 1990 and created 5-Ball Racing to taste the salt again. He assembled a winning team including veteran rider, Valerie Thompson, who piloted the "Salt Shaker" (a John Reed designed Custom Chrome Sport Bike chassis with Accurate's snarling engine) built by Bandit in the Bikernet Headquarters. The "Outlaw 120’ blasted the motorcycle across the flats and into the record books," said Berry. At 141.465mph, the Salt Shaker now holds the Land Speed Record in it's classification (pushrod: fuel) and is the World's Fastest Panhead. "But's that's not all. We want to build a 200 mph Panhead, and we're building the bike now," said Bandit. "No time to lose."
