In these days of fuel injected bikes requiring computers and modules to tune the machine, it is good to know that the original performance carburetors are still available. Since 1990, performance minded v-twin riders have been installing S&S Super E and Super G carburetors on their bikes. They are an instant symbol of performance-see the Teardrop and know the bike is ready to run! These carbs are easy to tune, provide great throttle response and are known for their durability. The combination of an S&S Super E or G and a Teardrop air cleaner are a sure sign that the bike they are on is performance minded. With just two fuel circuits (aside from the enrichment and accelerator pump systems) the Super E and G are simple to tune. The carburetor is designed to allow easy access of the idle mixture, idle speed and accelerator pump with the carb (and air cleaner) installed on a bike. The large filter surface of the Teardrop design allows for plenty of air volume to flow into the carb and the actual Teardrop cover and its backing plate create a directional cone for smooth airflow into the carburetor. The E is designed to work on most engines under 100ci, and the G for engines no less than 90ci. The E has a 1 7/8" bore size and the G is bored to 2 1/16". Getting the most performance out of your stock or heavily modified v-twin is much easier with an S&S carburetor. Get more information at www.sscycle.com or call (608) 627-1497
