Every Harley-Davidson˙ built 2004 or later has an OBD interface (On-Board Diagnosis) as a 3-pin plug-in connection on the motorcycle. Using the m-CAN adaptor, which is simply plugged into this connector, Motogadget instruments can read out data such as speed, engine speed and MIL (Malfunction Indicator Light) from the vehicle data bus by Harley Davidson˙ directly.
